夫摩西嘗按手於嫩之子約書亞、感以智神、使之充盈、故以色列族聽從、遵耶和華所諭摩西之命。

如是耶和華之僕摩西、沒於摩押、踐耶和華之言、

摩西與從者約書亞興、獨登上帝之高崗。

惟侍爾側者、嫩之子約書亞可入、當強厥志、使輔翼以色列族以得斯業。

此數人乃摩西遣之、以窺迦南者、嫩之子阿書亞、摩西易其名、為約書亞、

惟爾之上帝耶和華、為爾先導、使約書亞導爾濟河、殲滅此異邦族姓、據有其地、循耶和華言。

斯二王為耶和華僕摩西與以色列族所擊、摩西以其地與流便迦得二支派、及馬拿西支派之半、為業。○

沐膏寧示子耶戶、為以色列王、沐膏亞伯米何拉人、沙法子以利沙、代爾為先知。

命嫩之子約書亞曰、強乃志、壯乃心、蓋爾必導以色列族、入耶和華所誓之地、彼必佑爾。○

嫩之子約書亞尚幼、為摩西從者、曰、請主禁之。

惟我僕摩西、盡忠於我家、不示以異象、不見於夢寐、

進立於主前。以利沙曰、其哈西從何而至。曰、僕無所往。曰彼下車迓爾之時、我心非與爾同在乎。此時豈可受人所饋、或金、或衣、以售橄欖圃、葡萄園、牛羊僕婢乎。故乃慢之癩、必移於爾、及爾苗裔、歷世勿愈、遂出成癩、皓白如雪。

陟山至上帝僕所、而抱其足。其哈西前、欲行驅逐。上帝之僕曰、勿阻之、其中心彌苦矣、耶和華隱於我而不告。婦曰、我豈求主欲得子乎、我豈不云、毋欺我乎。以利沙告其哈西曰、束爾帶、執我杖、而後前往、若遇人於途勿施禮、有人施禮於爾勿答、惟置我杖於子面。

約沙法曰、在此豈無耶和華之先知、容我問耶和華。以色列王之臣對曰、供以利亞盥手之役者、沙法子以利沙在此。

摩西告約書亞曰、爾當選士卒、詰朝與亞馬力人戰、我執上帝之杖、立於山巔。約書亞遵命、與亞馬力人戰。摩西、亞倫、戶耳登於山巔。摩西舉手、則以色列族勝、垂手、則亞馬力人勝。摩西手疲、不能舉、亞倫戶耳移石使坐、左右扶翼、手不搖撼、至於日入。約書亞以刃擊敗亞馬力人。

屬以法蓮支派嫩之子阿書亞、

事上帝之人摩西、其未沒時為以色列族祝嘏、

上帝僕、耶穌基督使徒保羅、為傳上帝選民所信之道、俾識敬虔真理、

上帝及主耶穌基督僕雅各、請散處十二支派安、

於小者忠、則大者亦忠、於小者不義、則大者亦不義、

我已永生、雖死復生、歷世無疆、執陰府死亡之鑰、

蓋大闢生時、遵上帝旨、卒則與祖同朽、惟上帝所甦者不朽、○

爾曹不可、爾中欲為大者、當為爾役、欲為首者、當為爾僕、

耶穌基督僕保羅、奉召為使徒、特命傳上帝福音、
