To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in forever. But you, Lord my God, brought my life up from the pit.

耶和华啊，你把我的灵魂从阴间带上来，使我存活，不至于下到阴坑！

看哪！我受尽苦痛，是对我有益的；是你在爱中保全我的灵魂脱离灭亡之坑，是你把我的一切罪都抛在你的背后。

在群山被安置以先、冈陵被安置之前，我已经诞生。那时耶和华还没有造大地、田野，也没有造世上最初的尘土。在他确立诸天时，我在那里——他在渊面上立定圆穹，他布置天上的云朵，使深渊的泉眼喷涌；他为海洋设立界限，使众水不能违背他的吩咐；他立定了大地的根基——

因为你不会把我的灵魂撇弃在阴间，也不会让你的圣者经历腐朽。

谁曾用手心测量众水，用手掌度量诸天呢？谁曾用升斗盛量大地的尘土，用秤称量群山，用天平称量冈陵呢？

神哪，你必使恶人下到灭亡的深坑里！那些杀人流血、行诡诈的人，必活不过半生；至于我，我要依靠你。

众水向上漫过群山，向下流入山谷，归到你为它们指定的地方。

耶和华啊，求你快快回应我，我的灵衰竭了！不要向我隐藏你的脸，免得我与下阴坑的人一样。

你以大能束腰，以自己的能力坚立群山。

因为神使耶稣复活，已经为我们这些做他们儿女的成全了这应许，正如诗篇第二篇也记着：‘你是我的儿子，我今天生了你。’至于神使耶稣从死人中复活、不再归于腐朽的事，神曾这样说过：‘我要把给大卫的那圣洁、信实的祝福赐给你们。’所以在另外一处也说：‘你不会让你的圣者经历腐朽。’就是说，大卫虽然在自己的世代，遵行了神的计划之后就睡了，归到他祖先那里，并且经历了腐朽，但是神使之复活的那一位，没有经历腐朽。

“我死亡下到阴坑，有什么好处呢？难道尘土会称谢你，宣告你的信实吗？

你使深渊的水如同衣袍遮盖大地，众水高过群山。
