They smothered my life in a pit and threw stones on me.Water flooded over my head, and I thought,“ I’m going to die!”I called on your name, LORD, from the depths of the pit.You heard my plea: Do not ignore my cry for relief.

Out of the depths I call to you, LORD!Lord, listen to my voice; let your ears be attentive to my cry for help.

Even if he kills me, I will hope in him. I will still defend my ways before him.

He granted his request and brought him back to Jerusalem, to his kingdom. So Manasseh came to know that the LORD is God.

LORD, they went to you in their distress; they poured out whispered prayers because your discipline fell on them.
