看哪，那創山，造風，將其心意指示人，使晨光變幽暗，踩行在地之高處的，他的名是耶和華－萬軍之上帝。

海裏忽然起了猛烈的風暴，以致船幾乎被波浪淹沒，耶穌卻睡着了。門徒去叫醒他，說：「主啊，救命啊，我們快沒命啦！」耶穌說：「你們這些小信的人哪，為甚麼膽怯呢？」於是他起來，斥責風和海，風和海就大大平靜了。眾人驚訝地說：「這是怎樣的一個人？連風和海都聽從他。」

他使雲霧從地極上騰，造電隨雨而閃，從倉庫中吹出風來。

有一陣風從耶和華那裏颳起，把鵪鶉從海上颳來，散落在營地和周圍；一邊約有一天的路程，另一邊也約有一天的路程，離地面約有二肘。

你用風一吹，海水就淹沒他們；他們像鉛沉在大水之中。

摩西向海伸手，耶和華就用強勁的東風，使海水在一夜間退去，海就成了乾地；水分開了。

當南風微微吹起時，他們以為對目的地已有了把握，就起錨，貼近克里特開去。過了不久，有一股叫「友拉革羅」的東北巨風從島上撲來，船被風抓住，無法頂風航行，我們只好任它漂流。我們貼着一個叫高大的小島的背風岸急航，好不容易才保住了救生艇。既然把救生艇拉上來，他們就用纜索捆綁船底，又恐怕在賽耳底淺灘上擱淺，就落了篷，任船漂流。我們被風浪逼得很急，第二天眾人就把貨物拋在海裏。第三天，他們又親手把船上的器具拋棄了。許多天都沒有看到太陽和星辰，又有狂風大浪催逼，我們獲救的指望都放棄了。

摩西就向埃及地伸杖；整整一晝一夜，耶和華使東風颳在埃及地上，到了早晨，東風把蝗蟲颳了來。

耶和華轉變風向，使強勁的西風吹來，把蝗蟲颳起，吹入紅海；在埃及全境連一隻也沒有留下。
