在約帕有一個女門徒，名叫大比大，譯成希利尼話叫作多加，就是羚羊的意思。這個婦人充滿着善行和施捨、就是她所常行的。

他施的人民哪，漫遊你的屬地像尼羅河吧！不再有限制了。

『所以、亞基帕王啊，我沒有悖逆天上的顯象；

他就禱告永恆主說：『哦永恆主啊，我還在我本地的時候、不就這樣說了麼？故此我才急速逃往他施啊；因為我知道你是有恩惠有憐憫的上帝，不輕易發怒，而有豐盛的堅愛，並且能改變心意不降所說的災禍。

我若傳福音，於我並無可誇處；因為我是不得已的；我若不傳福音，我便有禍了！

你們要渡海往他施去！沿海地帶的居民哪，哀號哦！

在那裏他進了一個洞，就住宿在那裏。那時永恆主的話又傳與他，對他說：『以利亞啊，你在這裏作甚麼？』

永恆主啊，你誘導了我，我被誘導了！你比我強，你勝了我；我終日成為譏笑的對象，人人都戲弄我。因為我每逢講論時，總得哀呼；我喊叫說：『有強暴哦！要毁滅啦！』因為永恆主的話對於我已成了終日不斷的辱罵和譏刺了。我若說：『我不再去想起他，我不再奉他的名講論，』我心裏就像有火燒着，閉塞在我骨中；我含忍得不耐煩了，簡直不能自禁。

彼得在約帕一個硝皮匠西門家裏住了好些日子。

『他施人因你有很多各種財物，就跟你交易，拿銀子、鐵、錫、鉛、來換你的貨物。

永恆主對撒但說：『看哪，凡他所有的都讓你手擺布；只是他的身子、你卻不可伸手加害。』於是撒但就從永恆主面前退出來。

摩西說：『主啊，你要差遣誰經手去作，就差遣誰吧。』永恆主向摩西發怒說：『不是有你哥哥「利未人」亞倫麼？我知道他是很能說話的；看哪，他正出來迎接着你呢。他一看見你，心裏就歡喜。

保羅卻以為、把一個曾從旁非利亞離開自己、不和自己同去作工的人、帶着同行、不適當。

於是靈將我舉起，帶我而去；我很苦惱，帶着心靈上的激熱而去；永恆主的手大有力量地按在我身上。

耶穌對他說：『手扶着犂、而直向後看的、沒有在上帝國裏能合用的。』

這兩種人當主來的時候必擔受刑罰、永世的死滅、跟主的面和他有力量的榮耀分離。當那日子他必在聖徒身上得榮耀，也必在一切信眾身上被讚為希奇；因為我們對你們所作的見證、真地已蒙你們相信了。

我往哪裏去躲避你的靈？我逃哪裏去躲避你的面呢？我若升到天上，你在那裏；我若拿陰間當床鋪，看哪，你也在那裏！我若鼓起黎明的翅膀，飛到海極去住，就是在那裏、你也使手按住我；你的右手也把我抓緊。我若說：『願黑暗遮蔽着我，願我周圍的光成為黑夜』，就是黑暗、也非黑暗、而使你不見我呀；黑夜卻如白晝發亮：黑暗怎樣，亮光也怎樣。

於是撒但就從永恆主面前退出來。他便用毒瘡去擊打約伯，從腳掌到頭頂滿都是瘡。

攻擊他施一切的船隻，一切可喜愛的華艇。

我們呢、必照你一切所需要的從利巴嫩砍下樹木來，紮成木簰、浮海運到約帕去給你，你就可以送上耶路撒冷去。』

天晚起了涼風，永恆主上帝在園中走走，那人和妻子聽見永恆主上帝的聲音，就藏在園子裏的樹木中，躲避永恆主上帝的面。

以利亞害怕，就起來逃命，到了猶大的別是巴，將僮僕留在那裏。

啊，沿海地帶必聚集來歸我，他施的船領先，將你的眾兒子都從遠方帶來，連他們的金銀都帶來，都為了永恆主你的上帝的名，又為了以色列之聖者，因為他使你得了光榮。
