邪恶和淫乱的世代要寻求神迹，除了约拿的神迹之外，不会有什么神迹给它了。”耶稣就离开他们走了。

那里有海，又大又广；海里有无数的活物，大小活物都有。那里有船只往来航行，有你所造的大鱼，在海里嬉戏。

耶和华啊！我听见你的声音，惧怕你的作为；求你在这些年间复兴，在这些年间彰显，发怒的时候以怜悯为怀。

于是，神创造了大鱼和在水中滋生各种能活动的生物，各从其类；又创造了各种有翅膀的飞鸟，各从其类。神看这是好的。

耶和华神安排一棵蓖麻，使它长起来高过约拿，成了阴影遮盖他的头，免他受苦；约拿因这棵蓖麻，就大大欢畅。
