他們只好呼求耶和華，說：「耶和華啊，求你不要因這個人的性命而毀滅我們，不要因我們殺害無辜的人而怪罪我們，因為你耶和華按自己的旨意行事。」

他们便求告耶和华说：“耶和华啊，我们恳求你，不要因这人的性命使我们死亡，不要使流无辜血的罪归与我们；因为你耶和华是随自己的意旨行事。”

于是他们求告耶和华说：“耶和华啊，求求你不要因这人的性命使我们灭亡，不要使流无辜人血的罪归给我们；因为你—耶和华随自己的旨意行事。”

于是他们求告耶和华说：“耶和华啊，求求你不要因这人的性命使我们灭亡，不要使流无辜人血的罪归给我们；因为你—耶和华随自己的旨意行事。”

他们就向耶和华呼求，说：“哦，耶和华啊，求你不要因这人性命的缘故使我们灭亡，不要把流无辜人血的罪归在我们身上！因为你，耶和华啊，是你照着你的意愿行了这事。”

他們便求告耶和華說：「耶和華啊，我們懇求你，不要因這人的性命使我們死亡，不要使流無辜血的罪歸與我們；因為你－耶和華是隨自己的意旨行事。」

於是他們求告耶和華說：「耶和華啊，求求你不要因這人的性命使我們滅亡，不要使流無辜人血的罪歸給我們；因為你－耶和華隨自己的旨意行事。」

於是他們求告耶和華說：「耶和華啊，求求你不要因這人的性命使我們滅亡，不要使流無辜人血的罪歸給我們；因為你－耶和華隨自己的旨意行事。」

他們就呼求耶和華，說：“耶和華啊！我們懇求你，不要因這人叫我們喪命；不要把無辜人的血歸在我們身上，因為你耶和華是照自己所喜悅的行事。”

他們便呼求永恆主說：『哦永恆主啊，求你不要因這人的性命而使我們滅亡哦！不要使流無辜人之血的罪歸於我們哦！因為永恆主啊、是你照自己的旨意主動這事的。』

他們就向耶和華呼求，說：「哦，耶和華啊，求你不要因這人性命的緣故使我們滅亡，不要把流無辜人血的罪歸在我們身上！因為你，耶和華啊，是你照著你的意願行了這事。」

於是眾籲耶和華曰、耶和華歟、求爾勿為此人之命、使我淪亡、勿以無辜之血、歸於我儕、緣爾耶和華隨所欲而行、

遂禱耶和華曰、耶和華隨意而作、勿為斯人、使我殞亡、如我擲之於海、勿視我若殺無辜。

遂呼籲主曰、求主莫為此人之命、使我死亡、莫以害無辜之罪歸我、蓋主隨意而行、

Then they cried out to the Lord,“ Please, Lord, do not let us die for taking this man’s life. Do not hold us accountable for killing an innocent man, for you, Lord, have done as you pleased.”

Then they cried out to the Lord. They prayed,“ Please, Lord, don’t let us die for taking this man’s life. After all, he might not be guilty of doing anything wrong. So don’t hold us responsible for killing him. Lord, you always do what you want to.”

Therefore they called out to the Lord,“ O Lord, let us not perish for this man’s life, and lay not on us innocent blood, for you, O Lord, have done as it pleased you.”

Then they cried out to the Lord, Jonah’s God.“ O Lord,” they pleaded,“ don’t make us die for this man’s sin. And don’t hold us responsible for his death. O Lord, you have sent this storm upon him for your own good reasons.”

So they called out to the LORD,“ Please, LORD, don’t let us perish because of this man’s life, and don’t charge us with innocent blood! For you, LORD, have done just as you pleased.”

Then they cried out to the Lord and said,“ We earnestly pray, O Lord, do not let us perish on account of this man’s life, and do not put innocent blood on us; for You, Lord, have done as You pleased.”

Therefore they cried out to the Lord and said,“ We pray, O Lord, please do not let us perish for this man’s life, and do not charge us with innocent blood; for You, O Lord, have done as it pleased You.”

Wherefore they cried unto Jehovah, and said, We beseech thee, O Jehovah, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man’s life, and lay not upon us innocent blood; for thou, O Jehovah, hast done as it pleased thee.

So they called out to the Lord:“ Please, Yahweh, don’t let us perish because of this man’s life, and don’t charge us with innocent blood! For You, Yahweh, have done just as You pleased.”

Wherefore they cried unto the LORD, and said, We beseech thee, O LORD, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man’s life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O LORD, hast done as it pleased thee.

So they cried out to the LORD,“ Oh, please, LORD, don’t let us die on account of this man! Don’t hold us guilty of shedding innocent blood. After all, you, LORD, have done just as you pleased.”

Therefore they cried to Yahweh, and said,“ We beg you, Yahweh, we beg you, don’t let us die for this man’s life, and don’t lay on us innocent blood; for you, Yahweh, have done as it pleased you.”

我們的上帝高居在天，按自己的旨意行事。

耶和華啊，求你赦免你已經救贖的以色列子民，不要把殺害這無辜之人的罪算在你的子民身上。』這樣，殺人的罪便可得到赦免。

耶和華在天上、地下、海洋、深淵按自己的旨意行事。

於是，他們在患難中呼求耶和華，耶和華便拯救他們脫離困境。

眾人都極其敬畏耶和華，向祂獻祭，並且許願。

「七年後，我尼布甲尼撒舉目望天，恢復了神智，便稱頌至高者，讚美、尊崇永活者。祂的統治永無窮盡，祂的國度直到萬代。世人都微不足道，祂在天軍和世人中獨行其道，無人能攔阻祂的手，或質問祂的作為。

父啊，是的，這正是你的美意。

水手們非常害怕，紛紛呼求自己的神，又把船上的貨物全都拋進海裡，以減輕重量。這時候，約拿已下到底艙，躺在那裡呼呼大睡。

那裡的居民看見毒蛇吊在保羅手上，就交頭接耳地說：「這人一定是個兇手，雖然僥倖沒有淹死，天理卻不容他活下去。」

耶和華啊，我們是你的子民，我們在危難中尋求你。你管教我們的時候，我們就向你祈求。

凡殺害人的，也必被人殺害，因為人是上帝照著自己的形像造的。

照著祂在基督裡所定的美好計劃叫我們知道祂旨意的奧祕，

我們也在基督裡被揀選成為祂的子民。這都是按自己旨意行萬事的上帝預先定下的計劃，
