耶和華之日伊邇、在彼郇邑、為我聖山吹角甚厲、使民震動、

當在郇吹角、在我聖山吹角、其聲惟洪、在我聖山吹角其聲惟洪或作在我聖山吹號筒使斯地之居民震動、因主降災之日至也、已近矣、

Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming. It is close at hand—

Priests, blow the trumpets in Zion. Give a warning on my holy mountain. Let everyone who lives in the land tremble with fear. The day of the Lord is coming. It is very near.

Blow a trumpet in Zion; sound an alarm on my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming; it is near,

Sound the trumpet in Jerusalem! Raise the alarm on my holy mountain! Let everyone tremble in fear because the day of the Lord is upon us.

Blow the ram’s horn in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy mountain! Let all the residents of the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming; in fact, it is near—

Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the Lord is coming, For it is at hand:

Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain; let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of Jehovah cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

Blow the horn in Zion; sound the alarm on My holy mountain! Let all the residents of the land tremble, for the Day of the Lord is coming; in fact, it is near—

Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm signal on my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land shake with fear, for the day of the LORD is about to come. Indeed, it is near!

Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of Yahweh comes, for it is close at hand:

Declare in Judah and proclaim in Jerusalem, and say,“ Blow the trumpet in the land; Cry aloud and say,‘ Assemble, and let’s go Into the fortified cities.’

The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer.

Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, Dwelling on Zion, My holy mountain. So Jerusalem will be holy, And strangers will no longer pass through it.

Woe for the day! For the day of the Lord is near, And it will come as destruction from the Almighty.

A day of trumpet and battle cry Against the fortified cities And the high corner towers.

Blow a trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, proclaim a solemn assembly,

“ For the day of the Lord is near for all the nations. Just as you have done, it will be done to you. Your dealings will return on your own head.

If a trumpet is blown in a city, will the people not tremble? If a disaster occurs in a city, has the Lord not brought it about?

And when you blow an alarm, the camps that are pitched on the east side shall set out.Then when you sound an alarm the second time, the camps that are pitched on the south side shall set out; an alarm is to be sounded for them to break camp.When convening the assembly, however, you shall blow the trumpets without sounding an alarm.The sons of Aaron, moreover, the priests, shall blow the trumpets; and this shall be a permanent statute for you throughout your generations.And when you go to war in your land against the enemy who attacks you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, so that you will be thought of by the Lord your God, and be saved from your enemies.

For My hand made all these things, So all these things came into being,” declares the Lord.“ But I will look to this one, At one who is humble and contrite in spirit, and who trembles at My word.

Blow the horn in Gibeah, And the trumpet in Ramah. Sound an alarm at Beth aven:“ Behind you, Benjamin!”

Do you not fear Me?’ declares the Lord.‘ Do you not tremble in My presence? For I have placed the sand as a boundary for the sea, An eternal limit, and it will not cross over it. Though the waves toss, they cannot prevail; Though they roar, they will not cross over it.

You too be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near.

The great day of the Lord is near, Near and coming very quickly; Listen, the day of the Lord! In it the warrior cries out bitterly.

Put the trumpet to your lips! Like an eagle the enemy comes against the house of the Lord, Because they have violated My covenant And rebelled against My Law.

‘ Behold, the day! Behold, it is coming! Your doom has gone forth; the rod has budded, arrogance has blossomed.

Hear the word of the Lord, you who tremble at His word:“ Your brothers who hate you, who exclude you on account of My name, Have said,‘ Let the Lord be glorified, so that we may see your joy.’ But they will be put to shame.

For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord is coming just like a thief in the night.

For the Lord of armies will have a day of reckoning Against everyone who is arrogant and haughty, And against everyone who is lifted up, That he may be brought low.

Therefore say to them,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ I will put an end to this proverb so that they will no longer use it as a proverb in Israel.” But tell them,“ The days are approaching as well as the fulfillment of every vision.

When I heard about this matter, I tore my garment and my robe, and pulled out some of the hair from my head and my beard, and sat down appalled.Then everyone who was frightened by the words of the God of Israel on account of the unfaithfulness of the exiles gathered to me, and I sat appalled until the evening offering.

“ This is what the Lord God says:‘ A disaster, a unique disaster, behold, it is coming!An end is coming; the end has come! It has awakened against you; behold, it has come!Your doom has come to you, you inhabitant of the land. The time has come, the day is near— panic rather than joyful shouting on the mountains.

So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

His foundation is in the holy mountains.

“ For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze,” says the Lord of armies,“ so that it will leave them neither root nor branches.

But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the horn and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away for his wrongdoing; but I will require his blood from the watchman’s hand.’

I issue a decree that in all the realm of my kingdom people are to tremble and fear before the God of Daniel; For He is the living God and enduring forever, And His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed, And His dominion will be forever.

“ Now it will happen that, when you tell this people all these words, they will say to you,‘ For what reason has the Lord declared all this great disaster against us? And what is our wrongdoing, or what is our sin that we have committed against the Lord our God?’

So all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of the horn, with trumpets, with loud sounding cymbals, with harps, and lyres.

The Lord says this:‘ I will return to Zion and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the Lord of armies will be called the Holy Mountain.’

On that day you will feel no shame Because of all your deeds By which you have rebelled against Me; For then I will remove from your midst Your proud, arrogant ones, And you will never again be haughty On My holy mountain.

My flesh trembles from the fear of You, And I am afraid of Your judgments. Ayin

While I was still speaking and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my plea before the Lord my God in behalf of the holy mountain of my God,

And He said,“ What do you see, Amos?” And I said,“ A basket of summer fruit.” Then the Lord said to me,“ The end has come for My people Israel. I will not spare them any longer.

and he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows the horn and warns the people,

Lord, in accordance with all Your righteous acts, let now Your anger and Your wrath turn away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain; for because of our sins and the wrongdoings of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people have become an object of taunting to all those around us.

People will not break bread in mourning for them, to comfort anyone for the dead, nor give them a cup of consolation to drink for anyone’s father or mother.

Now when both are blown, all the congregation shall meet you at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

The time has come, the day has arrived. Let neither the buyer rejoice nor the seller mourn; for wrath is against all their multitude.
