He is wise in heart and mighty in strength– who has resisted him and remained safe?

他心里有智慧，且大有能力。谁向神刚硬而得亨通呢？

祂充满智慧，能力无比，谁能抗拒祂还可平安无恙？

他心里有智慧，而且有极大的能力，有谁对他刚硬而平安无事呢？

他心裏有智慧，且大有能力。誰向神剛硬而得亨通呢？

他心裏有智慧，且大有能力。誰向上帝剛硬而得平安呢？

他心裏有智慧，且大有能力。誰向神剛硬而得平安呢？

祂充滿智慧，能力無比，誰能抗拒祂還可平安無恙？

他心裡有智慧，而且有極大的能力，有誰對他剛硬而平安無事呢？

他心裏有智慧，並且能力強大；誰向上帝強硬、還得安全呢？

其心明、其力強、自愎而敵之者、孰能亨通、

上帝具至智、有大能、違之者烏能得福。

天主心智力強、違之者孰可綏安、孰可綏安或作誰不受禍

His wisdom is profound, his power is vast. Who has resisted him and come out unscathed?

His wisdom is deep. His power is great. No one opposes him and comes away unharmed.

He is wise in heart and mighty in strength— who has hardened himself against him, and succeeded?—

For God is so wise and so mighty. Who has ever challenged him successfully?

God is wise and all-powerful. Who has opposed him and come out unharmed?

Wise in heart and mighty in strength, Who has defied Him without harm?

God is wise in heart and mighty in strength. Who has hardened himself against Him and prospered?

He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: Who hath hardened himself against him, and prospered?—

God is wise and all-powerful. Who has opposed Him and come out unharmed?

[ He is] wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened[ himself] against him, and hath prospered?

God who is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who has hardened himself against him and prospered?

Now to him who by the power that is working within us is able to do far beyond all that we ask or think,

Indeed, God is mighty; and he does not despise people, he is mighty, and firm in his intent.

Now to the one who is able to keep you from falling, and to cause you to stand, rejoicing, without blemish before his glorious presence,to the only God our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, power, and authority, before all time, and now, and for all eternity. Amen.

If it is a matter of strength, most certainly he is the strong one! And if it is a matter of justice, he will say,‘ Who will summon me?’

The one who stiffens his neck after numerous rebukes will suddenly be destroyed without remedy.

The purpose of this enlightenment is that through the church the multifaceted wisdom of God should now be disclosed to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly realms.

Now look, God is with us as our leader. His priests are ready to blow the trumpets to signal the attack against you. You Israelites, don’t fight against the LORD God of your ancestors, for you will not win!”

and what is the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe, as displayed in the exercise of his immense strength.

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how fathomless his ways!

Then I would yet have my comfort, then I would rejoice, in spite of pitiless pain, for I have not concealed the words of the Holy One.

and reveal to you the secrets of wisdom– for true wisdom has two sides– so that you would know that God has forgiven some of your sins.

to the one who used wisdom to make the heavens, for his loyal love endures,

But at the end of the appointed time I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up toward heaven, and my sanity returned to me. I extolled the Most High, and I praised and glorified the one who lives forever. For his authority is an everlasting authority, and his kingdom extends from one generation to the next.All the inhabitants of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he wishes with the army of heaven and with those who inhabit the earth. No one slaps his hand and says to him,‘ What have you done?’At that time my sanity returned to me. I was restored to the honor of my kingdom, and my splendor returned to me. My ministers and my nobles were seeking me out, and I was reinstated over my kingdom. I became even greater than before.Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, for all his deeds are right and his ways are just. He is able to bring down those who live in pride.

“ With God are wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are his.

And when his mind became arrogant and his spirit filled with pride, he was deposed from his royal throne and his honor was removed from him.He was driven from human society, his mind was changed to that of an animal, he lived with the wild donkeys, he was fed grass like oxen, and his body became damp with the dew of the sky, until he came to understand that the most high God rules over human kingdoms, and he appoints over them whomever he wishes.“ But you, his son Belshazzar, have not humbled yourself, although you knew all this.Instead, you have exalted yourself against the Lord of heaven. You brought before you the vessels from his temple, and you and your nobles, together with your wives and concubines, drank wine from them. You praised the gods of silver, gold, bronze, iron, wood, and stone– gods that cannot see or hear or comprehend! But you have not glorified the God who has in his control your very breath and all your ways!Therefore the palm of a hand was sent from him, and this writing was inscribed.“ This is the writing that was inscribed: MENE, MENE, TEQEL, and PHARSIN.This is the interpretation of the words: As for mene– God has numbered your kingdom’s days and brought it to an end.As for teqel– you are weighed on the balances and found to be lacking.As for peres– your kingdom is divided and given over to the Medes and Persians.”Then, on Belshazzar’s orders, Daniel was clothed in purple, a golden collar was placed around his neck, and he was proclaimed third ruler in the kingdom.And in that very night Belshazzar, the Babylonian king, was killed.

And as for me, I am going to harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will come after them, that I may be honored because of Pharaoh and his army and his chariots and his horsemen.And the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD when I have gained my honor because of Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen.”

Do you have an arm as powerful as God’s, and can you thunder with a voice like his?

For this time I will send all my plagues on your very self and on your servants and your people, so that you may know that there is no one like me in all the earth.For by now I could have stretched out my hand and struck you and your people with plague, and you would have been destroyed from the earth.But for this purpose I have caused you to stand: to show you my strength, and so that my name may be declared in all the earth.You are still exalting yourself against my people by not releasing them.

saying,“ Let the name of God be praised forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to him.

he wanders about– food for vultures; he knows that the day of darkness is at hand.Distress and anguish terrify him; they prevail against him like a king ready to launch an attack,for he stretches out his hand against God, and vaunts himself against the Almighty,defiantly charging against him with a thick, strong shield!Because he covered his face with fat, and made his hips bulge with fat,

Or are we trying to provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we really stronger than he is?

that he lavished on us in all wisdom and insight.

Blessed is the one who is always cautious, but whoever hardens his heart will fall into evil.

How many living things you have made, O LORD! You have exhibited great skill in making all of them; the earth is full of the living things you have made.
