If it is a matter of strength, behold, he is mighty! If of justice,‘ Who,’ says he,‘ will summon me?’

若論能力、彼則云我在此、若言訊鞫、彼則雲誰定期、

欲以力爭、彼力過我、欲以理諭、誰為折中。

若論力、其力至大、若論審鞫、孰能為我定期、至天主前自訴、

If it is a matter of strength, he is mighty! And if it is a matter of justice, who can challenge him?

If it’s a matter of strength, he is mighty! And if it’s a matter of being fair, who would dare to bring charges against him?

If it is a contest of strength, behold, he is mighty! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon him?

If it’s a question of strength, he’s the strong one. If it’s a matter of justice, who dares to summon him to court?

If it is a matter of strength, look, he is the powerful one! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon him?

If it is a matter of power, behold, He is the strong one! And if it is a matter of justice, who can summon Him?

If it is a matter of strength, indeed He is strong; And if of justice, who will appoint my day in court?

If we speak of strength, lo, he is mighty! And if of justice, Who, saith he, will summon me?

If it is a matter of strength, look, He is the Mighty One! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon Him?

If[ I speak] of strength, lo,[ he is] strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time[ to plead]?

If it is a matter of strength, most certainly he is the strong one! And if it is a matter of justice, he will say,‘ Who will summon me?’

God who is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who has hardened himself against him and prospered?

because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, that we should come together in judgment.There is no umpire between us, that might lay his hand on us both.

If you can, answer me. Set your words in order before me, and stand up.Behold, I am toward God even as you are. I am also formed out of the clay.Behold, my terror will not make you afraid, neither will my pressure be heavy on you.

oh that I had one to hear me! Behold, here is my signature! Let the Almighty answer me! Let the accuser write my indictment!

Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.’

“ But you are full of the judgment of the wicked. Judgment and justice take hold of you.Don’t let riches entice you to wrath, neither let the great size of a bribe turn you aside.Would your wealth sustain you in distress, or all the might of your strength?

God has spoken once; twice I have heard this, that power belongs to God.

Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

Or do you have an arm like God? Can you thunder with a voice like him?“ Now deck yourself with excellency and dignity. Array yourself with honor and majesty.
