If it is a matter of power, behold, He is the strong one! And if it is a matter of justice, who can summon Him?

欲以力爭、彼力過我、欲以理諭、誰為折中。

若論力、其力至大、若論審鞫、孰能為我定期、至天主前自訴、

If it is a matter of strength, he is mighty! And if it is a matter of justice, who can challenge him?

If it’s a matter of strength, he is mighty! And if it’s a matter of being fair, who would dare to bring charges against him?

If it is a contest of strength, behold, he is mighty! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon him?

If it’s a question of strength, he’s the strong one. If it’s a matter of justice, who dares to summon him to court?

If it is a matter of strength, look, he is the powerful one! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon him?

If it is a matter of strength, indeed He is strong; And if of justice, who will appoint my day in court?

If we speak of strength, lo, he is mighty! And if of justice, Who, saith he, will summon me?

If it is a matter of strength, look, He is the Mighty One! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon Him?

If[ I speak] of strength, lo,[ he is] strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time[ to plead]?

If it is a matter of strength, most certainly he is the strong one! And if it is a matter of justice, he will say,‘ Who will summon me?’

If it is a matter of strength, behold, he is mighty! If of justice,‘ Who,’ says he,‘ will summon me?’

Wise in heart and mighty in strength, Who has defied Him without harm?

For the foolishness of God is wiser than mankind, and the weakness of God is stronger than mankind.

For He is not a man, as I am, that I may answer Him— That we may go to court together!There is no arbitrator between us, Who can place his hand upon us both.

Refute me if you can; Line up against me, take your stand.Behold, I belong to God, like you; I too have been formed out of the clay.Behold, no fear of me should terrify you, Nor should my pressure weigh heavily on you.

Oh that I had one to hear me! Here is my signature; Let the Almighty answer me! And the indictment which my adversary has written,

And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.’

“ But you were full of judgment on the wicked; Judgment and justice take hold of you.Beware that wrath does not entice you to mockery; And do not let the greatness of the ransom turn you aside.Will your cry for help keep you from distress, Or all the exertions of your strength?

God has spoken once; Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God;

Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? We are not stronger than He, are we?

Or do you have an arm like God, And can you thunder with a voice like His?“ Adorn yourself with pride and dignity, And clothe yourself with honor and majesty.
