If we speak of strength, lo, he is mighty! And if of justice, Who, saith he, will summon me?

若論能力、彼則云我在此、若言訊鞫、彼則雲誰定期、

欲以力爭、彼力過我、欲以理諭、誰為折中。

若論力、其力至大、若論審鞫、孰能為我定期、至天主前自訴、

If it is a matter of strength, he is mighty! And if it is a matter of justice, who can challenge him?

If it’s a matter of strength, he is mighty! And if it’s a matter of being fair, who would dare to bring charges against him?

If it is a contest of strength, behold, he is mighty! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon him?

If it’s a question of strength, he’s the strong one. If it’s a matter of justice, who dares to summon him to court?

If it is a matter of strength, look, he is the powerful one! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon him?

If it is a matter of power, behold, He is the strong one! And if it is a matter of justice, who can summon Him?

If it is a matter of strength, indeed He is strong; And if of justice, who will appoint my day in court?

If it is a matter of strength, look, He is the Mighty One! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon Him?

If[ I speak] of strength, lo,[ he is] strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time[ to plead]?

If it is a matter of strength, most certainly he is the strong one! And if it is a matter of justice, he will say,‘ Who will summon me?’

If it is a matter of strength, behold, he is mighty! If of justice,‘ Who,’ says he,‘ will summon me?’

He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: Who hath hardened himself against him, and prospered?—

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, That we should come together in judgment.There is no umpire betwixt us, That might lay his hand upon us both.

If thou canst, answer thou me; Set thy words in order before me, stand forth.Behold, I am toward God even as thou art: I also am formed out of the clay.Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, Neither shall my pressure be heavy upon thee.

Oh that I had one to hear me!( Lo, here is my signature, let the Almighty answer me) And that I had the indictment which mine adversary hath written!

And bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

But thou art full of the judgment of the wicked: Judgment and justice take hold on thee.For let not wrath stir thee up against chastisements; Neither let the greatness of the ransom turn thee aside.Will thy cry avail, that thou be not in distress, Or all the forces of thy strength?

God hath spoken once, Twice have I heard this, That power belongeth unto God.

Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like him?Deck thyself now with excellency and dignity; And array thyself with honor and majesty.
