其怒未息、強者慴之。

Egypt’s help is completely worthless; therefore, I call her: Rahab Who Just Sits.

By his power he stirred the sea, and by his understanding he crushed Rahab.

You crushed Rahab like one who is slain; you scattered your enemies with your powerful arm.

Wake up, wake up! Arm of the LORD, clothe yourself with strength. Wake up as in days past, as in generations long ago. Wasn’t it you who hacked Rahab to pieces, who pierced the sea monster?

But he gives greater grace. Therefore he says: God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

But he also is wise and brings disaster. He does not go back on what he says; he will rise up against the house of the wicked and against the allies of evildoers.Egyptians are men, not God; their horses are flesh, not spirit. When the LORD raises his hand to strike, the helper will stumble and the one who is helped will fall; both will perish together.

Do you have an arm like God’s? Can you thunder with a voice like his?Adorn yourself with majesty and splendor, and clothe yourself with honor and glory.Pour out your raging anger; look on every proud person and humiliate him.
