他夺取，谁能阻挡？谁敢问他：你做什么？

看哪，他夺去，谁能阻挡他？谁敢对他说：‘你做什么呢？’

祂若夺取，谁能阻挡？谁敢问祂，‘你做什么？’

他夺取，谁能拦阻他？谁敢问他：‘你干什么？’

他奪取，誰能阻擋？誰敢問他：你做甚麼？

看哪，他奪去，誰能阻擋他？誰敢對他說：『你做甚麼呢？』

彼取之、誰能拒之、孰問之曰、爾何為耶、

其取之孰能禦之、其為之孰能問之。

天主取取或作奪焉、誰能禦之、孰敢問之曰、爾何所為、

If he snatches away, who can stop him? Who can say to him,‘ What are you doing?’

If he takes something, who can stop him? Who would dare to ask him,‘ What are you doing?’

Behold, he snatches away; who can turn him back? Who will say to him,‘ What are you doing?’

If he snatches someone in death, who can stop him? Who dares to ask,‘ What are you doing?’

If he snatches something, who can stop him? Who can ask him,“ What are you doing?”

If He were to snatch away, who could restrain Him? Who could say to Him,‘ What are You doing?’

If He takes away, who can hinder Him? Who can say to Him,‘ What are You doing?’

Behold, he seizeth the prey, who can hinder him? Who will say unto him, What doest thou?

If He snatches something, who can stop Him? Who can ask Him,“ What are You doing?”

Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What doest thou?

“ Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker, those who are nothing but potsherds among the potsherds on the ground. Does the clay say to the potter,‘ What are you making?’ Does your work say,‘ The potter has no hands’? (niv)

“ But he stands alone, and who can oppose him? He does whatever he pleases. (niv)

“ Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?” (niv)

All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him:“ What have you done?” (niv)

But if he remains silent, who can condemn him? If he hides his face, who can see him? Yet he is over individual and nation alike, (niv)

He said,“ Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?” declares the Lord.“ Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, Israel. (niv)

Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?’ (niv)

Why do you complain to him that he responds to no one’s words? (niv)

Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do. (niv)

Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.One of you will say to me:“ Then why does God still blame us? For who is able to resist his will?”But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God?“ Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it,‘ Why did you make me like this?’” (niv)

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, (niv)
