if you are pure and upright, even now he will rouse himself on your behalf and restore you to your prosperous state.

Be pure and honest. And he will rise up and help you now. He’ll give you everything you had before.

Our actions will show that we belong to the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before God.Even if we feel guilty, God is greater than our feelings, and he knows everything.Dear friends, if we don’t feel guilty, we can come to God with bold confidence.And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him.

Arise, O Lord, in anger! Stand up against the fury of my enemies! Wake up, my God, and bring justice!

The Lord detests the sacrifice of the wicked, but he delights in the prayers of the upright.

Tell the godly that all will be well for them. They will enjoy the rich reward they have earned!

I hate the gatherings of those who do evil, and I refuse to join in with the wicked.I wash my hands to declare my innocence. I come to your altar, O Lord,

Wake up, wake up, O Lord! Clothe yourself with strength! Flex your mighty right arm! Rouse yourself as in the days of old when you slew Egypt, the dragon of the Nile.

Yet I have done no wrong, and my prayer is pure.

When you lift up your hands in prayer, I will not look. Though you offer many prayers, I will not listen, for your hands are covered with the blood of innocent victims.

Doesn’t your reverence for God give you confidence? Doesn’t your life of integrity give you hope?“ Stop and think! Do the innocent die? When have the upright been destroyed?

You will know that your home is safe. When you survey your possessions, nothing will be missing.

If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored— so clean up your life.If you give up your lust for money and throw your precious gold into the river,the Almighty himself will be your treasure. He will be your precious silver!“ Then you will take delight in the Almighty and look up to God.You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows to him.You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on the road ahead of you.If people are in trouble and you say,‘ Help them,’ God will save them.Even sinners will be rescued; they will be rescued because your hands are pure.”

In every place of worship, I want men to pray with holy hands lifted up to God, free from anger and controversy.

Wake up, O Lord! Why do you sleep? Get up! Do not reject us forever.

And yet they say to God,‘ Go away. We want no part of you and your ways.Who is the Almighty, and why should we obey him? What good will it do us to pray?’

Then the Lord asked Satan,“ Have you noticed my servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless— a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil.”
