Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

你說，『你且聽著，我要發言。我來提問，你來回答。』

我將言之、求爾垂聽、我將問爾、願爾示之、

請聽我言、我將上問、願求指示。

我將言、求主聽我、將問主、願主指示我、

“ You said,‘ Listen now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you shall answer me.’

“ You said,‘ Listen now, and I will speak. I will ask you some questions. Then I want you to answer me.’

‘ Hear, and I will speak; I will question you, and you make it known to me.’

You said,‘ Listen and I will speak! I have some questions for you, and you must answer them.’

You said,“ Listen now, and I will speak. When I question you, you will inform me.”

‘ Please listen, and I will speak; I will ask You, and You instruct me.’

Listen, please, and let me speak; You said,‘ I will question you, and you shall answer Me.’

Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which[ am but] dust and ashes:

And he said[ unto him], Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do[ it], if I find thirty there.And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy[ it] for twenty’s sake.And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy[ it] for ten’s sake.
