Who has a claim against me that I must pay? Everything under heaven belongs to me.

Who hath first given unto me, that I should repay him? Whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine.

The earth and everything in it, the world and its inhabitants, belong to the LORD;

And who has ever given to God, that he should be repaid?

Now if you will carefully listen to me and keep my covenant, you will be my own possession out of all the peoples, although the whole earth is mine,

The heavens, indeed the highest heavens, belong to the LORD your God, as does the earth and everything in it.

If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world and everything in it is mine.

If you are righteous, what do you give him, or what does he receive from your hand?

Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the splendor and the majesty, for everything in the heavens and on earth belongs to you. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom, and you are exalted as head over all.Riches and honor come from you, and you are the ruler of everything. Power and might are in your hand, and it is in your hand to make great and to give strength to all.Now therefore, our God, we give you thanks and praise your glorious name.But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? For everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your own hand.

The heavens are the LORD’s, but the earth he has given to the human race.

But if someone says to you,“ This is food from a sacrifice,” do not eat it, out of consideration for the one who told you, and for the sake of conscience.

Can a man be of any use to God? Can even a wise man be of use to him?Does it delight the Almighty if you are righteous? Does he profit if you perfect your behavior?

For you meet him with rich blessings; you place a crown of pure gold on his head.
