猶大人末底改、位居亞哈隨魯王之次、在猶大人中為尊、見悅於諸同宗、以和平之言、安撫其族、惟求其民之益焉、

彼將為我名建室、我必固其國位、歷久弗替、我將為其父、彼將為我子、彼若作惡、我必以人之杖、世人之鞭責之、惟我仁慈不離之、如昔奪之於掃羅、即我為爾所棄者、爾家爾國必堅立、爾位必堅定、至於永遠、

吾主、請聽、爾於我中、為上帝之牧伯、在我塚地間、擇其佳域、以葬爾之死者、我中無人禁之、

其產有羊七千、駝三千、牛五百耦、牝驢五百、僕從眾多、在東方、斯人為至大、

爾可治我家、我民舉止、咸遵爾命、我尊於爾、只在國位、
