Suppose ten are found there?” He answered,“ I will not destroy it on account of ten.”When the LORD had finished speaking with Abraham, he departed, and Abraham returned to his place.

Now take seven bulls and seven rams, go to my servant Job, and offer a burnt offering for yourselves. Then my servant Job will pray for you. I will surely accept his prayer and not deal with you as your folly deserves. For you have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has.”

Since the people of Ai are so few, don’t wear out all our people there.”So about three thousand men went up there, but they fled from the men of Ai.The men of Ai struck down about thirty-six of them and chased them from outside the city gate to the quarries, striking them down on the descent. As a result, the people lost heart.
