因为悖逆与行邪术的罪相同，顽梗与拜虚无偶像一样，因为你弃绝了耶和华的话，耶和华也弃绝了你作王。”

你们若愿意听从，就必得吃地上的美物；你们若不听从，反而悖逆，就必被刀剑吞灭。”这是耶和华亲口说的。

“这许多的话怎可不回答，多嘴多舌的人怎能算为义呢？你胡言乱语可使人不作声吗？你嘲笑的时候，无人责备吗？

“你说：‘我在神面前更显为义’，你自以为这话有理吗？你还说：‘你有什么益处呢？我不犯罪有什么好处？’

“直到今日我还有苦情要申诉，我虽然叹息，他的手仍然沉重。

“这些话你要说到几时，你口中的言语像狂风到几时呢？神怎会歪曲公平？全能者怎会屈枉公义？

所以约伯开口说空话，多说无知识的话。”

耶和华对约伯说了这些话以后，就对提幔人以利法说：“我要向你和你的两个朋友生气，因为你们讲论我，不如我的仆人约伯说的对。
