智者聞斯言、必曰、

智者與哲者聞此、必謂我曰、約百無知而言、其詞不達乎理、

“ Men of understanding declare, wise men who hear me say to me,

“ You men who have understanding have spoken. You wise men who hear me have said to me,

Men of understanding will say to me, and the wise man who hears me will say:

After all, bright people will tell me, and wise people will hear me say,

Reasonable men will say to me, along with the wise men who hear me,

Men of understanding will say to me, And a wise man who hears me,

“ Men of understanding say to me, Wise men who listen to me:

Men of understanding will say unto me, Yea, every wise man that heareth me:

Reasonable men will say to me, along with the wise men who hear me,

Men of understanding say to me– any wise man listening to me says–

Men of understanding will tell me, yes, every wise man who hears me:

Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what[ is] good.

Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: far be it from God,[ that he should do] wickedness; and[ from] the Almighty,[ that he should commit] iniquity.

Hear my words, O ye wise[ men]; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.

I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.

If now[ thou hast] understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.
