因畏大眾、懼宗族之藐視、以致緘口、杜門不出、

因惧怕大众，又因宗族藐视我使我惊恐，以致闭口无言，杜门不出；

我若因大大惧怕众人，又因宗族的藐视而恐惧，以致我缄默不言，闭门不出；

我若因大大惧怕众人，又因宗族的藐视而恐惧，以致我缄默不言，闭门不出；

因惧怕群众，被族人藐视，就默不作声、不敢出门？

因为我惧怕群众，宗族的藐视又使我惊恐，以致我静默不言，足不出门。

因懼怕大眾，又因宗族藐視我使我驚恐，以致閉口無言，杜門不出；

我若因大大懼怕眾人，又因宗族的藐視而恐懼，以致我緘默不言，閉門不出；

因懼怕群眾，被族人藐視，就默不作聲、不敢出門？

因為我懼怕群眾，宗族的藐視又使我驚恐，以致我靜默不言，足不出門。

因懼怕蜂擁的眾人，又因宗族的藐視驚嚇我，以致我靜止不動，閉門不出；

如我若此、則必戰慄於眾前、為戚族所藐視、緘口無詞、杜門不出。

如我有此、自思大眾必驚恐我、宗族必藐視我、凌辱我、使我蒙羞緘口、不敢出門、

because I so feared the crowd and so dreaded the contempt of the clans that I kept silent and would not go outside—

I was never afraid of the crowd. I never worried that my relatives might hate me. I didn’t have to keep quiet or stay inside.

because I stood in great fear of the multitude, and the contempt of families terrified me, so that I kept silence, and did not go out of doors—

Have I feared the crowd or the contempt of the masses, so that I kept quiet and stayed indoors?

because I greatly feared the crowds and because the contempt of the clans terrified me, so I grew silent and would not go outside?

勿從眾以行惡、遇訟作證、勿狥眾以反正、

祭司諸長、長老、唆眾求釋巴拉巴、而滅耶穌、方伯謂眾曰、二人中欲我孰釋、曰、巴拉巴、彼拉多曰、然則稱基督之耶穌、何以處之、僉曰、釘之十架、方伯曰、彼行何惡耶、眾愈呼曰、釘之十架、彼拉多見言之無濟、反以滋亂、遂取水、眾前盥手、曰、流此義人之血、非我罪也、爾自當之、眾皆應曰、其血歸我、及我子孫、遂釋巴拉巴、鞭耶穌、付之釘十架、○

今而後我儕不以貌識人、雖曾以貌識基督、今不復如此識之、

牧伯奏王曰、斯人不求民利、惟求其害、請致之死、蓋彼所言、使邑中所遺之戰士庶民、厥手咸弱、西底家王曰、彼在爾手、王不能禦爾也、

摩西曰、以色列之上帝耶和華云、各宜繫刃於腰、往來營中、自此門至彼門、殺其昆弟、友朋鄰里、

昔祭司以利亞實司我上帝室庫、與多比雅聯姻、為之備一巨室、此室曾貯素祭、乳香器皿、及穀酒油之什一、乃利未人、謳歌者、司閽者、循例當得之物、亦貯歸祭司之舉祭、斯時我不在耶路撒冷、蓋巴比倫王、亞達薛西三十二年、我返覲王、越數日我請假、既至耶路撒冷、始知以利亞實為多比雅所行之惡事、在上帝室院、為之備室、我則憂甚、取多比雅之家具、擲諸室外、

西底家王謂耶利米曰、我恐迦勒底人、付我於投降之猶大人手、彼則侮我、

畏人必陷羅網、惟恃耶和華者、必得安居、

王之臣僕、及諸州之民皆知、凡未蒙王召、擅入內院覲王者、無論男女、殺無赦、俱為一例、非王向之舉其金杖、不得生存、我未蒙召入覲、已三旬矣、

況不偏視王公、不歧視貧富者乎、蓋皆其所造也、

厥手惟惡是營、而亟行之、牧伯徇情、士師貪賄、大人言其中心之惡欲、共同組織之、

中心籌畫、責顯者及民長曰、爾於同宗索利、我遂集大會以攻之、

與米甸女同戮之以色列人、乃西緬族長、撒路子心利、被誅之女、乃米甸族長蘇珥之女哥斯比、○

被曳至死地者、爾其援之、將見殺者、勿弗救之、爾若曰、此非我所知、而權衡人心者、豈不度之、保佑爾命者、豈不知之、豈不依人所行而報之、

今爾得居后位、焉知非為此會、如爾斯時緘默無言、則猶大人必從他方、得解脫、蒙拯救、惟爾與父家、將見剿滅耳、
