「我的僕婢與我爭辯，我若藐視不聽他們的冤情，

“我的仆婢与我争辩的时候，我若藐视不听他们的情节；

“我的仆婢与我争辩，我若藐视不听他们的冤情，

“我的仆婢与我争辩，我若藐视不听他们的冤情，

我的仆婢告我，我也会讲公道，

我的仆婢与我争论的时候，我若轻视他们的案件，

我的僕婢與我爭辯的時候，我若藐視不聽他們的情節；

「我的僕婢與我爭辯，我若藐視不聽他們的冤情，

我的僕婢告我，我也會講公道，

我的僕婢與我爭論的時候，我若輕視他們的案件，

『我的奴僕或婢女與我爭訟時，我若藐視、不聽其情由，

僕婢與我有爭、我若輕視其情、

如我不公以涖下、使彼抱屈、

我僕婢與我爭辯、我何嘗使之負屈含冤、

“ If I have denied justice to any of my servants, whether male or female, when they had a grievance against me,

“ Suppose I haven’t treated any of my male and female servants fairly when they’ve brought charges against me.

“ If I have rejected the cause of my manservant or my maidservant, when they brought a complaint against me,

“ If I have been unfair to my male or female servants when they brought their complaints to me,

If I have dismissed the case of my male or female servants when they made a complaint against me,

“ If I have rejected the claim of my male or female slaves When they filed a complaint against me,

“ If I have despised the cause of my male or female servant When they complained against me,

If I have despised the cause of my man- servant or of my maid- servant, When they contended with me;

If I have dismissed the case of my male or female servants when they made a complaint against me,

If I did despise the cause of my manservant or of my maidservant, when they contended with me;

“ If I have disregarded the right of my male servants or my female servants when they disputed with me,

“ If I have despised the cause of my male servant or of my female servant, when they contended with me,

「人若用棍子打奴僕或婢女，當場死在他的手下，他必受報應。若能撐過一兩天，主人就不必受懲罰，因為那是他的財產。

「人若打奴僕或婢女的眼睛，毀了一隻，就要因他的眼讓他自由離去。若打掉了奴僕或婢女的一顆牙，就要因他的牙讓他自由離去。」

作主人的，你們待僕人也是一樣，不要威嚇他們，因為知道他們和你們在天上同有一位主，他並不偏待人。

不可苛刻管轄他，只要敬畏你的神。

「困苦貧窮的雇工，無論是你的弟兄，或是住在你境內，在你城裏寄居的，你都不可欺負他。要當日給他工錢，不可等到日落，因為他困苦，需要靠工錢過活，免得他因你的緣故求告耶和華，罪就歸於你了。

「你弟兄中，若有一個希伯來男人或希伯來女人賣給你，已服事你六年，到了第七年就要讓他自由離開你。你讓他自由離開的時候，不可讓他空手而去，要從你的羊羣、禾場、壓酒池中取一些，慷慨地送給他；耶和華－你的神怎樣賜福給你，你也要照樣給他。要記得你在埃及地作過奴僕，耶和華－你的神救贖了你。為此，我今日將這事吩咐你。

你們可以把他們遺留給你們後代的子孫，作為永遠繼承的產業；你們可以使他們作奴僕。至於你們的弟兄以色列人，你們彼此不可苛刻管轄。

『你的一個希伯來弟兄若賣給你，服事你六年，到第七年你們各人就要釋放他自由出去。』只是你們祖先不聽我，不側耳而聽。如今你們回轉，行我眼中看為正的事，各人向鄰舍宣告自由，並且在我面前、在稱為我名下的殿中立約。你們卻反悔，褻瀆我的名，各人叫所釋放得自由的僕人婢女回來，強迫他們仍為僕婢。所以耶和華如此說：你們不聽從我，各人不向弟兄鄰舍宣告自由。看哪！我要向你們宣告自由，把你們自由地交給刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫，並且使地上萬國因你們而驚駭。這是耶和華說的。

你們作主人的，待僕人要公正，因為知道，你們也有一位主在天上。
