緣此為大罪、為有司所當罰之惡、

因为这是大罪，是审判官当罚的罪孽。

因为这是邪恶的事，审判官裁定的罪孽。

因為這是大罪，是審判官當罰的罪孽。

因為這是邪惡的事，審判官裁定的罪孽。

因為這是罪大惡極的事，這是裁判官該辦的罪孽；

蓋此為重罪、士師當罰之惡、

此乃澆漓之俗、士師所必罰、

For that would have been wicked, a sin to be judged.

Wanting another woman would have been an evil thing. It would have been a sin that should be judged.

For that would be a heinous crime; that would be an iniquity to be punished by the judges;

For lust is a shameful sin, a crime that should be punished.

For that would be a disgrace; it would be an iniquity deserving punishment.

For that would be a lustful crime; Moreover, it would be wrongdoing punishable by judges.

For that would be wickedness; Yes, it would be iniquity deserving of judgment.

For that were a heinous crime; Yea, it were an iniquity to be punished by the judges:

For that would be a disgrace; it would be a crime deserving punishment.

For this[ is] an heinous crime; yea, it[ is] an iniquity[ to be punished by] the judges.

For I would have committed a shameful act, an iniquity to be judged.

For that would be a heinous crime. Yes, it would be an iniquity to be punished by the judges;

凡姦人之妻者、姦夫淫婦、俱治之死、

人若與有夫之婦同寢、為人所見、則以二人、即姦夫淫婦、一併治死、知是、除惡於以色列人中、若處女為人所聘、有人於邑中與之苟合、則當以此二人攜至邑門外、以石擊之死、因女雖在邑中不呼號、因男玷辱他人之妻、如是、除惡於爾中、

此亦為有司所當罰之罪、我如有此、則違背在上之天主、

約過三月、有人告猶大曰、爾媳他瑪行淫、今已懷孕、猶大曰、曳出焚之、

亞比米勒曰、爾何為待我若此、民中幾有人偕爾妻寢、使我儕陷於罪、

我必罰爾、如罰行淫之婦、及殺人之婦、我必使爾如淫婦為夫所殺、其怒甚烈、雪其忿心、

亞比米勒召亞伯拉罕曰、爾向我何為、我何嘗獲罪於爾、爾竟以我與我國、陷於重罪、爾向我為所不可為之事、

毋姦淫、

淫人妻者亦若是、凡捫之者斷非無罪、人因餓竊物以充饑、人雖不藐視、若被執則償七倍、或盡出家中所有以償之、淫人妻者甚為無知、行此者必喪己命、受毀傷、被凌辱、其恥不得洗矣、

此家之人莫大於我、爾既為主人之妻、除爾之外皆付於我、我豈敢作此大惡、獲罪於天主乎、
