For when an ear heard, it called me blessed, And when an eye saw, it testified in support of me,

耳朵听我的，就称我有福；眼睛看我的，便称赞我；

听见我的都祝福我，看见我的都称赞我。

耳朵聽我的，就稱我有福；眼睛看我的，便稱讚我；

聞我者祝嘏、見我者揄揚、

耳聞我者祝我、目睹我者譽我、

Whoever heard me spoke well of me, and those who saw me commended me,

Everyone who heard me said good things about me. Those who saw me honored me.

When the ear heard, it called me blessed, and when the eye saw, it approved,

“ All who heard me praised me. All who saw me spoke well of me.

And all the people were speaking well of Him, and admiring the gracious words which were coming from His lips; and yet they were saying,“ Is this not Joseph’s son?”

While Jesus was saying these things, one of the women in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him,“ Blessed is the womb that carried You, and the breasts at which You nursed!”

If his waist has not thanked me, And if he has not been warmed with the fleece of my sheep,

When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, But when a wicked person rules, people groan.
