“ This is the portion of a wicked person from God, And the inheritance which tyrants receive from the Almighty:

“神为恶人所定的份，强暴人从全能者所得的报乃是这样：

“这是上帝为恶人所定的份，残暴人从全能者所得的产业：

“这是神为恶人所定的份，残暴人从全能者所得的产业：

“以下是上帝给恶人定的结局，全能者赐给残暴之徒的归宿。

这是恶人从神所得的分，强暴的人从全能者所得的业。

神為惡人所定的分，強暴人從全能者所得的報乃是這樣：

「這是上帝為惡人所定的份，殘暴人從全能者所得的產業：

「這是神為惡人所定的份，殘暴人從全能者所得的產業：

「以下是上帝給惡人定的結局，全能者賜給殘暴之徒的歸宿。

這是惡人從神所得的分，強暴的人從全能者所得的業。

『惡人在上帝那裏所有的分兒、強橫人從全能者所得的產業乃是以下這樣：

惡人由上帝所受之分、強暴者由全能者所得之業、

爾曰、全能之上帝、報惡人、罰強暴、

天主為惡人所定之罰、強暴人由全能之主所得之報、今將言之、

“ Here is the fate God allots to the wicked, the heritage a ruthless man receives from the Almighty:

“ Here’s what God does to sinful people. Here’s what those who are mean receive from the Mighty One.

“ This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage that oppressors receive from the Almighty:

“ This is what the wicked will receive from God; this is their inheritance from the Almighty.

This is a wicked man’s lot from God, the inheritance the ruthless receive from the Almighty.

“ This is the portion of a wicked man with God, And the heritage of oppressors, received from the Almighty:

This is the portion of a wicked man with God, And the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty:

This is a wicked man’s lot from God, the inheritance the ruthless receive from the Almighty.

This[ is] the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors,[ which] they shall receive of the Almighty.

This is the portion of the wicked man allotted by God, the inheritance that evildoers receive from the Almighty.

“ This is the portion of a wicked man with God, the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty.

For he has oppressed and neglected the poor; He has seized a house which he has not built.“ Because he knew no quiet within him, He does not retain anything he desires.Nothing remains for him to devour, Therefore his prosperity does not endure.In the fullness of his excess he will be cramped; The hand of everyone who suffers will come against him.When he fills his belly, God will send His fierce anger on him And rain it on him while he is eating.He may flee from the iron weapon, But the bronze bow will pierce him.It is drawn and comes out of his back, Even the flashing point from his gallbladder; Terrors come upon him,Complete darkness is held in reserve for his treasures, And unfanned fire will devour him; It will consume the survivor in his tent.The heavens will reveal his guilt, And the earth will rise up against him.The increase of his house will disappear; His possessions will flow away on the day of His anger.This is a wicked person’s portion from God, The inheritance decreed to him by God.”

“ Because of the devastation of the poor, because of the groaning of the needy, Now I will arise,” says the Lord;“ I will put him in the safety for which he longs.”

then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from a trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment,

The wicked person writhes in pain all his days, And the years reserved for the ruthless are numbered.Sounds of terror are in his ears; While he is at peace the destroyer comes upon him.He does not believe that he will return from darkness, And he is destined for the sword.He wanders about for food, saying,‘ Where is it?’ He knows that a day of darkness is at hand.Distress and anguish terrify him, They overpower him like a king ready for the attack,Because he has reached out with his hand against God, And is arrogant toward the Almighty.He rushes headlong at Him With his massive shield.For he has covered his face with his fat, And put fat on his waist.He has lived in desolate cities, In houses no one would inhabit, Which are destined to become ruins.He will not become rich, nor will his wealth endure; And his property will not stretch out on the earth.He will not escape from darkness; The flame will dry up his shoot, And he will go away by the breath of His mouth.Let him not trust in emptiness, deceiving himself; For his reward will be emptiness.It will be accomplished before his time, And his palm branch will not be green.He will drop off his unripe grape like the vine, And will cast off his flower like the olive tree.For the company of the godless is barren, And fire consumes the tents of the corrupt.They conceive harm and give birth to wrongdoing, And their mind prepares deception.”

Woe to the wicked! It will go badly for him, For what he deserves will be done to him.

“ Then I will come near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, those who oppress the wage earner in his wages or the widow or the orphan, and those who turn away the stranger from justice and do not fear Me,” says the Lord of armies.

Is it not disaster to the criminal, And misfortune to those who practice injustice?

He will rain coals of fire upon the wicked, And brimstone and burning wind will be the portion of their cup.

Behold, the pay of the laborers who mowed your fields, and which has been withheld by you, cries out against you; and the outcry of those who did the harvesting has reached the ears of the Lord of armies.You have lived for pleasure on the earth and lived luxuriously; you have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter.You have condemned and put to death the righteous person; he offers you no resistance.

Do not rob the poor because he is poor, Nor crush the needy at the gate;For the Lord will plead their case And take the life of those who rob them.

But it will not go well for the evil person and he will not lengthen his days like a shadow, because he does not fear God.
