When You send Your breath, they are created, and You renew the face of the earth.

So the great dragon was thrown out— the ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, the one who deceives the whole world. He was thrown to earth, and his angels with him.

You divided the sea with Your strength; You smashed the heads of the sea monsters in the waters;You crushed the heads of Leviathan; You fed him to the creatures of the desert.

The heavens were made by the word of the Lord, and all the stars, by the breath of His mouth.He gathers the waters of the sea into a heap; He puts the depths into storehouses.

Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness covered the surface of the watery depths, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
