我又观看，看见有一片白云，云上坐着一位好像是人子的，头上戴着金冠冕，手里拿着锋利的镰刀。另有一位天使从圣所出来，向那坐在云上的大声喊着：“伸出你的镰刀来收割吧，因为收割的时候已经到了，地上的庄稼已经熟透了。”于是那坐在云上的把镰刀向地上挥去，地上的庄稼就收割了。另有一位天使从天上的圣所出来，他也拿着锋利的镰刀。另有一位天使从祭坛出来，是有权柄管火的，向那拿着锋利镰刀的大声喊着说：“伸出锋利的镰刀来，收取地上葡萄树的果子，因为葡萄熟透了。”那天使就把镰刀向地上挥去，收取了地上的葡萄，扔进神愤怒的大榨酒池里。那榨酒池在城外被踹踏，有血从榨酒池里流出来，涨到马的嚼环那么高，约有一千六百斯他迪那么远。

他们转眼之间成了何等荒凉！他们被惊恐灭尽了。

恶人虽茂盛如草，作恶的人虽全都兴旺，他们却要灭亡，直到永远。

注意！你们这些富足人哪，要为将要临到你们身上的灾难哭泣、号啕。你们的财物腐烂了，你们的衣服被虫子蛀了。你们的金银都生锈了；这锈要证明你们的不是，又要像火一样吞吃你们的肉。你们在这末世只知道积蓄钱财。

太阳出来，热风刮起，草就枯干，花也凋谢，它美丽的样子就消失了；那富足的人在他一生的奔波中也要这样衰残。

我见过恶人大有势力，高耸如本地青翠的树木。有人从那里经过，看哪，他已不存在，我寻找他，却寻不着了。

恨恶你的要披戴羞愧，恶人的帐棚必归于无有。”

像人收割成熟的禾稼，用手臂割取麦穗，又像人在利乏音谷拾取穗子；其间所剩不多，好像人打橄榄树，在最高的树梢上只剩两、三颗橄榄，在多结果子的旁枝上只剩四、五颗；这是耶和华—以色列的神说的。

恶人欢乐的声音是暂时的，不敬虔人的喜乐不过是转眼之间。
