在城内垂死的人呻吟，受伤的人哀号；上帝却不理会狂妄的事。

城中传来垂死之人的呻吟，受伤者不断呼救，上帝却置之不理。

大邑之人歎息、傷者之心悲哀、惟此殘暴、上帝弗之顧也、

俾困苦者嘆息、傷心者呼籲、惡人橫逆如此、上帝不加以罪。

城中居民歎息、被傷者中心悲哀、或作城中將死者歎息被戮者之靈鳴冤乃天主不顧此等罪惡、

The groans of the dying rise from the city, and the souls of the wounded cry out for help. But God charges no one with wrongdoing.

The groans of those who are dying are heard from the city. Those who are wounded cry out for help. But God doesn’t charge anyone with doing what is wrong.

From out of the city the dying groan, and the soul of the wounded cries for help; yet God charges no one with wrong.

From the city, men groan; the mortally wounded cry for help, yet God pays no attention to this crime.

我又看见日光之下所发生一切欺压的事：受欺压的流泪，却无人安慰他们；欺压他们的，手里握着权柄，因此无人安慰受欺压的。

你作了这些事，我默不作声；你以为我和你一样？其实我要责备你，要当面指控你。

现在我在这里作什么呢？”耶和华说：“我的子民毫无代价被取去；统治他们的人大肆咆哮。”耶和华说：“我的名终日不住被藐视。

因为他们迫害你所击打的人，嘲笑你所击伤的人的痛苦。

耶和华说：“因为困苦人的冤屈和贫穷人的叹息，我现在要起来，把他们安置在他们渴望的稳妥之中。”

现在我们称骄傲的人为有福，作恶的人得建立；他们虽然试探神，却得以逃脱。’”

还是你藐视神丰富的恩慈、宽容和忍耐，不晓得他的恩慈是要领你悔改的吗？可是你一直硬着心肠，不肯悔改，为自己积蓄神的忿怒，就是他彰显公义审判的那天所要发的忿怒。

以色列人就从他们中间除去外族人的神，事奉耶和华；耶和华的心因以色列人所受的患难，就很着急。

因为这是他唯一的铺盖，是他蔽体的衣服；如果没有了它，他拿什么睡觉呢？如果他向我呼求，我必应允，因为我是满有恩惠的。

灾祸忽然把人杀害的时候，他就必嘲笑无辜人的遭遇。

过了很久，埃及王死了。以色列人在捆锁中叹息，他们就呼求，在捆锁中的呼求达到神那里。神听见他们的呼声，就记念他与亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立的约。

因为我困苦贫穷，我的内心伤痛。

你们用自己的言语使耶和华厌烦，你们还说：“我们怎样使他厌烦呢？”因为你们说：“作恶的，耶和华都看为善，并且喜悦他们。”或说：“公义的神在哪里呢？”

对恶行已判定的刑罚迟迟没有执行，世人的心就充满行恶的意图。罪人既然作恶百次，还享长寿，那么我知道敬畏神的人，就是在他面前存敬畏的心的，必享福乐。

并且要以我们的主恒久忍耐为给人得救的机会，就如我们所亲爱的弟兄保罗，按照所赐给他的智慧，写给你们的一样；

于是，埃及人严严地使以色列人作苦工。埃及人使他们因作苦工而觉得命苦，他们要和泥、做砖、作田间各样的工；这一切苦工，埃及人都严严地驱使以色列人去作。
