Even to- day is my complaint rebellious: My stroke is heavier than my groaning.

『就是今日我的哀怨還是沉痛呢：我雖哀聲嘆氣，他的手仍重重責罰我。

今我之愬、謂為悖逆、而所受之譴責、甚於我之呻吟、

我心焦勞、大放厥詞、彼降重災、使我欷歔欲絕。

我苦自訴、至今猶視為悖逆、或作我辨白至今覺苦甚我受之譴責、甚於我之歎息、

“ Even today my problems are more than I can handle. In spite of my groans, God’s hand is heavy on me.

My soul is weary of my life; I will give free course to my complaint; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.

Remember mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is bowed down within me.

Therefore I will not refrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.

For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: My moisture was changed as with the drought of summer.[ Selah

And that he would show thee the secrets of wisdom! For he is manifold in understanding. Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.

Oh that my vexation were but weighed, And all my calamity laid in the balances!For now it would be heavier than the sand of the seas: Therefore have my words been rash.

In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: My hand was stretched out in the night, and slacked not; My soul refused to be comforted.I remember God, and am disquieted: I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed.[ SelahThou holdest mine eyes watching: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.I have considered the days of old, The years of ancient times.I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart; And my spirit maketh diligent search.Will the Lord cast off for ever? And will he be favorable no more?Is his lovingkindness clean gone for ever? Doth his promise fail for evermore?Hath God forgotten to be gracious? Hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies?[ Selah
