他們又把塵土撒在頭上，哀傷哭泣，喊著說，『這大城啊，真悲慘！真悲慘！所有經營航運的都因她的奢華而發了財，可是頃刻間她卻淪為廢墟了！』

話剛說完，眾王子已經來到他們跟前放聲大哭，王和臣僕也哀痛不已。

錫安的首領曾比雪純淨，比奶更白，身體比紅寶石更紅潤，相貌美如藍寶石。現在，他們的面目比煤炭還黑，走在街上無人認得。他們骨瘦如柴，乾如枯木。

我的親屬離開我，我的摯友忘記我。

以色列人聽了耶和華的天使說的話，就放聲大哭，
