Shall it go down with me to the gates of Sheol, or descend together into the dust?”

等到安息在尘土中，这指望必下到阴间的门闩那里了。”

这盼望要下到阴间的门闩吗？要一起在尘土中安息吗？”

这盼望要下到阴间的门闩吗？要一起在尘土中安息吗？”

我的希望会跟我进入阴间，与我同归尘土吗？”

等到安息在尘土中的时候，那些指望必下到阴间的门闩那里。”

等到安息在塵土中，這指望必下到陰間的門閂那裏了。

這盼望要下到陰間的門閂嗎？要一起在塵土中安息嗎？」

這盼望要下到陰間的門閂嗎？要一起在塵土中安息嗎？」

我的希望會跟我進入陰間，與我同歸塵土嗎？」

等到安息在塵土中的時候，那些指望必下到陰間的門閂那裡。”

所指望的要同我下到陰間麼？或是我們要一同落於塵土中呢？』

迨至安寢於土、則所望者、下及陰府之楗而已、

必歸陰府、安寢於土、所望之福、歸於烏有。

既安寢於土、則歸示阿勒示阿勒見七章九節小註之深處矣、或作必下至示阿勒之荒墟必同寢於土中

Will it go down to the gates of death? Will we descend together into the dust?”

Will hope go down to the gates of death with me? Will we go down together into the dust of the grave?”

Will it go down to the bars of Sheol? Shall we descend together into the dust?”

No, my hope will go down with me to the grave. We will rest together in the dust!”

Will it go down to the gates of Sheol, or will we descend together to the dust?

Will it go down with me to Sheol? Shall we together go down into the dust?”

Will they go down to the gates of Sheol? Shall we have rest together in the dust?”

It shall go down to the bars of Sheol, When once there is rest in the dust.

Will it go down to the gates of Sheol, or will we descend together to the dust?

They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when[ our] rest together[ is] in the dust.

Will it go down to the barred gates of death? Will we descend together into the dust?”

There the wicked cease from troubling. There the weary are at rest.There the prisoners are at ease together. They don’t hear the voice of the taskmaster.The small and the great are there. The servant is free from his master.

I went down to the bottoms of the mountains. The earth barred me in forever: yet have you brought up my life from the pit, Yahweh my God.

Yes, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead,

I am counted among those who go down into the pit. I am like a man who has no help,set apart among the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom you remember no more. They are cut off from your hand.You have laid me in the lowest pit, in the darkest depths.Your wrath lies heavily on me. You have afflicted me with all your waves. Selah.You have taken my friends from me. You have made me an abomination to them. I am confined, and I can’t escape.

Hurry to answer me, Yahweh. My spirit fails. Don’t hide your face from me, so that I don’t become like those who go down into the pit.

The members of his body will be devoured. The firstborn of death will devour his members.He will be rooted out of the security of his tent. He will be brought to the king of terrors.

Behold, for peace I had great anguish, but you have in love for my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption; for you have cast all my sins behind your back.For Sheol can’t praise you. Death can’t celebrate you. Those who go down into the pit can’t hope for your truth.

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say,‘ Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost. We are completely cut off.’

He keeps back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.He is chastened also with pain on his bed, with continual strife in his bones,so that his life abhors bread, and his soul dainty food.His flesh is so consumed away that it can’t be seen. His bones that were not seen stick out.Yes, his soul draws near to the pit, and his life to the destroyers.“ If there is beside him an angel, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show to man what is right for him;then God is gracious to him, and says,‘ Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom.’His flesh will be fresher than a child’s. He returns to the days of his youth.He prays to God, and he is favorable to him, so that he sees his face with joy. He restores to man his righteousness.He sings before men, and says,‘ I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it didn’t profit me.He has redeemed my soul from going into the pit. My life will see the light.’
