看見我的人都譏笑我，他們撇著嘴、搖著頭說：

仇敵都嘲笑我，他們看見我就連連搖頭。

路人都拍掌嘲笑你。他們向耶路撒冷城搖頭，嗤笑道：「這就是那被譽為完美無瑕、普世喜悅的城嗎？」

因此，他們的土地必荒涼，永遠遭人嗤笑，經過此地的人無不驚懼，搖頭歎息。

以下是耶和華對他的判語，錫安的居民藐視你，嘲笑你；耶路撒冷的居民朝你逃竄的背影搖頭。

「所以，你們希望人怎樣待你們，就要怎樣待人，這是律法和先知的教導。

言多必失，智者慎言。

「即使絕望者拋棄對上帝的敬畏，也應該得到朋友的恩待。

約伯啊，這盡是虛言，是一大堆無知的話。」

愚人高談闊論，其實無人知道將來的事，人死後，誰能告訴他世間的事呢？

過路的人都嘲笑祂，搖著頭說：「你這聲稱把聖殿拆毀又在三天內重建的人啊，救救自己吧！你要是上帝的兒子，就從十字架上下來吧！」

這就是那歡樂安逸、自以為無與倫比的城，現在竟然如此荒涼，成為野獸棲息之地！路過的人都搖手嘲笑它。

「要是能秤量我的苦難，把我的災殃放在秤上，那將比海沙還重；所以我言語魯莽。因為全能者的箭射中我，箭毒侵蝕我的靈，祂使恐懼列隊襲來。野驢有草豈會叫喚？牛有飼料豈會哞叫？

「難道滔滔不絕就無人反駁？難道嘮嘮叨叨就證明有理？

要與喜樂的人同樂，與哀哭的人同哭。

如果身體某個肢體感到痛苦，全身也一同受苦。如果某個肢體得到榮耀，全身也一同喜樂。

你使我們成為列國的笑柄，人們對我們連連搖頭。
