他用暴風折斷我，無故地加增我的損傷。

挺着頸項，用盾牌的厚凸面向全能者直闖；

他們用手持住你，你就斷折，傷了他們的肩；他們倚靠你，你就斷折，閃了他們的腰。

我不得安逸，不得平靜，也不得安息，卻有患難來到。

誰掉在這石頭上，必要跌碎；這石頭掉在誰的身上，就要把誰砸得稀爛。」

你在野狗之處壓傷我們，用死蔭遮蔽我們。

也為我的命將自己的頸項置之度外。不但我感謝他們，就是外邦的眾教會也感謝他們。

我對神說：我豈是洋海，豈是大魚，你竟防守我呢？

獅子的吼叫和猛獅的聲音盡都止息；少壯獅子的牙齒也都敲掉。

那時他的燈照在我頭上；我藉他的光行過黑暗。

我便說：我必死在家中，必增添我的日子，多如塵沙。我的根長到水邊；露水終夜霑在我的枝上。
