維彼惡人、其目必盲、逋逃無藪、彼之失望、與氣之垂盡無異也。

但恶人的眼目必要失明。他们无路可逃；他们的指望就是气绝。”

But the eyes of the wicked will fail, and escape will elude them; their hope will become a dying gasp.”

But sinful people won’t find what they are looking for. They won’t be able to escape. All they can hope for is to die.”

But the eyes of the wicked will fail; all way of escape will be lost to them, and their hope is to breathe their last.”

But the wicked will be blinded. They will have no escape. Their only hope is death.”

在異邦中、爾不獲寧宇、亦無駐足之所、耶和華在彼使爾心慄目盲、衷懷不懌。

凡使同儕為寇所陷、其子之目當盲。

貧者所欲我施之、嫠者所望我遂之。

詛父母者、其燈必滅、其光必暗。

忘上帝者亦若是、偽善之人、彼所希冀、倏忽成空。其廬易圮、烏足恃、其業不存、奚以賴、與蜘網無異焉。

譬諸人避獅而遇熊、入室附壁、為蛇所嚙、耶和華之日、豈能陰翳、絕少光明、幽深玄遠、毫不明徹、

郇民曰、我冀鄰邦、以手援予、引領徒勞、望眼欲穿兮。

為上帝所射、不加矜恤、欲遁而不能、

斯道、主始言之、聞者徵明於我儕、

陰間痛苦之際、舉目遙見亞伯拉罕、懷中有拉撒路、呼曰、我祖亞伯拉罕、矜恤我、遣拉撒路指尖蘸水涼我舌、蓋此火燄中苦甚、亞伯拉罕曰、子當憶、生前受諸福、拉撒路受諸難、今彼慰、而爾苦焉、不第此也、爾我間、限以巨淵、欲由此涉爾不能、由彼濟我亦不能、

偽善之人、雖弋取貨財、上帝斷其氣、烏能復望福祉。

疾趨者不得避難、強勁者其力廢弛、有能者不能自救、

主立於壇側、我觀之、聞其詞曰、擊柱頂、震門橛、俱當損毀、壓於眾首、眾之子孫、我必加誅戮、逃匿者無人、得免者無人、雖入陰府、我必取之、雖升天堂、我將降之、雖匿於加密之巔、我將搜而出之、雖藏於大海之底、我必使蛇嚙之、

行惡之人、遁於幽暗陰翳、不能自匿。

惡者所畏必至、義人所欲必得。

我籲呼於上、至於困憊、至於焦渴、望上帝拯予、目為之矇瞶兮。

我將使爾觳觫、身癆體瘧、以致心憂目盲、播種徒勞、為敵所食。

室無餘慶、可復希望、有嚴厲之王焉、而被解至此。
