「『你親手造我塑我，現在卻要毀滅我。

你的手雕造了我，製造了我，一旦轉而毁滅了我！

爾手造我、甄陶成形、乃欲滅我、

我之百體、爾所甄陶、奚為滅我。

主手造我、製我四肢百體、今欲滅我乎、

“ Your hands shaped me and made me. Will you now turn and destroy me?

“‘ Your hands shaped me and made me. So are you going to destroy me now?

Your hands fashioned and made me, and now you have destroyed me altogether.

“‘ You formed me with your hands; you made me, yet now you completely destroy me.

“ Your hands shaped me and formed me. Will you now turn and destroy me?

‘ Your hands fashioned and made me altogether, Yet would You destroy me?

Thy hands have framed me and fashioned me Together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.

“ Your hands shaped me and formed me. Will You now turn and destroy me?

Thine hands have made me and fashioned me together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.

“ Your hands have shaped me and made me, but now you destroy me completely.

“‘ Your hands have framed me and fashioned me altogether, yet you destroy me.

Your hands have made me and fashioned me; Give me understanding, that I may learn Your commandments.

Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”

Does it seem good to You that You should oppress, That You should despise the work of Your hands, And smile on the counsel of the wicked?

Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel.And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make.Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:“ O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?” says the Lord.“ Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel!The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it,if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it.And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it,if it does evil in My sight so that it does not obey My voice, then I will relent concerning the good with which I said I would benefit it.

And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.So the Lord said,“ I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.”
