你施行欺壓，棄絕你手所造的，卻使惡人的計謀顯耀：這於你哪是好呢？

爾手所造、則虐待之、輕視之、惡人之謀、則焜耀之、爾豈以是為善乎、

虐遇斯民、豈爾所悅乎。爾既造人、豈遽棄之乎。惡者之謀為、爾反眷佑之乎。

主手所造、主又虐遇厭棄、反光照光照或作眷祐惡人之謀、豈主所悅乎、

Does it make you happy when you crush me? Does it please you to turn your back on what you have made? While you do those things, you smile on the plans of sinful people!

Does it seem good to you to oppress, to despise the work of your hands and favor the designs of the wicked?

What do you gain by oppressing me? Why do you reject me, the work of your own hands, while smiling on the schemes of the wicked?

Is it good for you to oppress, to reject the work of your hands, and favor the plans of the wicked?

Is it right for You indeed to oppress, To reject the work of Your hands, And to look favorably on the plan of the wicked?

Does it seem good to You that You should oppress, That You should despise the work of Your hands, And smile on the counsel of the wicked?

Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, That thou shouldest despise the work of thy hands, And shine upon the counsel of the wicked?

Is it good for You to oppress, to reject the work of Your hands, and favor the plans of the wicked?

You will call and I will answer you; you will long for the creature your hands have made.

Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.

The Lord will vindicate me; your love, Lord, endures forever— do not abandon the works of your hands.

“ Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who accuses God answer him!”

“ Would you discredit my justice? Would you condemn me to justify yourself?

It is all the same; that is why I say,‘ He destroys both the blameless and the wicked.’

“ Surely God does not reject one who is blameless or strengthen the hands of evildoers.

Is he not the One who says to kings,‘ You are worthless,’ and to nobles,‘ You are wicked,’who shows no partiality to princes and does not favor the rich over the poor, for they are all the work of his hands?

“ Job says,‘ I am innocent, but God denies me justice.Although I am right, I am considered a liar; although I am guiltless, his arrow inflicts an incurable wound.’Is there anyone like Job, who drinks scorn like water?

He has driven me away and made me walk in darkness rather than light;indeed, he has turned his hand against me again and again, all day long.He has made my skin and my flesh grow old and has broken my bones.He has besieged me and surrounded me with bitterness and hardship.He has made me dwell in darkness like those long dead.He has walled me in so I cannot escape; he has weighed me down with chains.Even when I call out or cry for help, he shuts out my prayer.He has barred my way with blocks of stone; he has made my paths crooked.Like a bear lying in wait, like a lion in hiding,he dragged me from the path and mangled me and left me without help.He drew his bow and made me the target for his arrows.He pierced my heart with arrows from his quiver.I became the laughingstock of all my people; they mock me in song all day long.He has filled me with bitter herbs and given me gall to drink.He has broken my teeth with gravel; he has trampled me in the dust.I have been deprived of peace; I have forgotten what prosperity is.So I say,“ My splendor is gone and all that I had hoped from the Lord.”

You are always righteous, Lord, when I bring a case before you. Yet I would speak with you about your justice: Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all the faithless live at ease?You have planted them, and they have taken root; they grow and bear fruit. You are always on their lips but far from their hearts.Yet you know me, Lord; you see me and test my thoughts about you. Drag them off like sheep to be butchered! Set them apart for the day of slaughter!

But their prosperity is not in their own hands, so I stand aloof from the plans of the wicked.

So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

But now you are laden with the judgment due the wicked; judgment and justice have taken hold of you.Be careful that no one entices you by riches; do not let a large bribe turn you aside.

When a land falls into the hands of the wicked, he blindfolds its judges. If it is not he, then who is it?

The Lord hears the needy and does not despise his captive people.

He does not take his eyes off the righteous; he enthrones them with kings and exalts them forever.But if people are bound in chains, held fast by cords of affliction,he tells them what they have done— that they have sinned arrogantly.

Yet it was he who filled their houses with good things, so I stand aloof from the plans of the wicked.
