I say to God: Do not declare me guilty, but tell me what charges you have against me.

我要對神說：不要定我有罪，請告訴我你為甚麼與我相爭。

對上帝說：不要定我為惡；要指示我、你為甚麼竟和我爭辯。

語上帝曰、毋擬我罪、示我何因、與我爭辯、

我籲上帝曰、爾毋以我為惡、即加譴責、亦必示以何故。

籲天主曰、莫以我為惡、主譴責我、求主示我何故、

I say to God,‘ Don’t find me guilty. Instead, tell me what charges you are bringing against me.

I will say to God, Do not condemn me; let me know why you contend against me.

I will say to God,‘ Don’t simply condemn me— tell me the charge you are bringing against me.

I will say to God,“ Do not declare me guilty! Let me know why you prosecute me.

I will say to God,‘ Do not condemn me; Let me know why You contend with me.

I will say to God,‘ Do not condemn me; Show me why You contend with me.

I will say unto God, Do not condemn me; Show me wherefore thou contendest with me.

I will say to God:“ Do not declare me guilty! Let me know why You prosecute me.

I will say unto God, Do not condemn me; shew me wherefore thou contendest with me.

I will say to God,‘ Do not condemn me; tell me why you are contending with me.’

I will tell God,‘ Do not condemn me. Show me why you contend with me.

Do not bring your servant into judgment, for no one living is righteous before you.

Since I am already found guilty, why should I struggle in vain?

But if you will seek God earnestly and plead with the Almighty,if you are pure and upright, even now he will rouse himself on your behalf and restore you to your prosperous state.

“ Suppose someone says to God,‘ I am guilty but will offend no more.Teach me what I cannot see; if I have done wrong, I will not do so again.’

The crown has fallen from our head. Woe to us, for we have sinned!Because of this our hearts are faint, because of these things our eyes grow dim

Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord.Let us lift up our hearts and our hands to God in heaven, and say:“ We have sinned and rebelled and you have not forgiven.

Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath.Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint; heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony.My soul is in deep anguish. How long, Lord, how long?Turn, Lord, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love.

Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, Lord, are good.

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,

But you, Sovereign Lord, help me for your name’s sake; out of the goodness of your love, deliver me.

Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath.Your arrows have pierced me, and your hand has come down on me.Because of your wrath there is no health in my body; there is no soundness in my bones because of my sin.My guilt has overwhelmed me like a burden too heavy to bear.My wounds fester and are loathsome because of my sinful folly.I am bowed down and brought very low; all day long I go about mourning.My back is filled with searing pain; there is no health in my body.I am feeble and utterly crushed; I groan in anguish of heart.

But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment.Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.
