今爾且降之以災、使喪其所有、原文作今爾且伸手擊其所有則必面詛詛或作毀謗爾、

爾若擊之、喪其貨財、必立詛爾。

我友乎、矜恤我、矜恤我、因天主之手責我、

且因生瘡痛苦、謗讟天上之主、不悔改所為、

宴飲之日既過、約百遂遣人使之自潔、使之自潔或作為之贖罪明日夙興、循其人數、為之獻火焚祭、循其人數為之獻火焚祭或作為其各人獻火焚祭約百自謂、恐我子獲罪、中心褻瀆褻瀆或作離棄天主、約百所為恆若此、

彼必經歷斯地、經歷斯地或作飄流國中遭困苦、受饑餓、饑餓之時、必生忿怒、咒詛其君及其神、仰觀於上、俯視於地、隨在艱難黑暗、困苦晦冥、自覺見逐於陰晦之中、

主曰、爾出言不遜、爾出言不遜或作爾以狂悖之言議論我、爾曰、我以何詞議論主乎、答曰、爾嘗言曰、服事天主、實屬徒勞、守其律法、守其律法或作守其所命守者何益之有、因萬有之主愀然度日、愀然度日或作常懷憂悶何益之有、

蓋萬有之主如是以命焉、主許以顯榮之後、遣我就刼掠爾之諸國、以責之、凡犯爾者、即犯其眸子、

今禍患臨爾而膽怯、災難及爾而驚惶、

我裸身出母胎、亦裸身歸土、賜之者主、取之者亦主、當頌美主之名、

故主震怒己民、舉手擊之、使山嶺震動、其屍如糞土、遍於街衢、雖然、主怒猶未息也、主手仍不縮也、

又有大雹自天降於人、每重一他連得、一他連得約一千二百三十兩人咸受雹災、且因災甚、遂謗讟天主、

亞比米勒遂論民曰、犯此人與其妻者、必治之死、○

其妻謂之曰、爾猶持守爾善乎、莫若詛詛或作毀謗天主而死、

主謂撒但曰、凡其所有、悉付於爾手、惟毋加害其身、撒但退於主前、

人為炎熱所曝、遂謗讟有權降此諸災之天主之名、且不悔改、不以榮歸天主、

云爾曹不可凌犯我沐膏之人、不可惡待我所立之先知、
