諸隣及曾見其乞食者、皆曰：『此非曩日坐而乞者乎？』或曰：『是也。』

His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked,“ Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?”

The neighbors therefore, and they that saw him aforetime, that he was a beggar, said, Is not this he that sat and begged?

He raises up the poor out of the dust. He lifts up the needy from the dunghill to make them sit with princes and inherit the throne of glory. For the pillars of the earth are Yahweh’s. He has set the world on them.

As he came near Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the road, begging.

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!”He took him by the right hand and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength.Leaping up, he stood and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.All the people saw him walking and praising God.They recognized him, that it was he who used to sit begging for gifts for the needy at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. They were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.As the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

So they both went until they came to Bethlehem. When they had come to Bethlehem, all the city was excited about them, and they asked,“ Is this Naomi?”
