And later Isaiah spoke boldly for God, saying,“ I was found by people who were not looking for me. I showed myself to those who were not asking for me.”

And immediately he began preaching about Jesus in the synagogues, saying,“ He is indeed the Son of God!”

As they rode along, they came to some water, and the eunuch said,“ Look! There’s some water! Why can’t I be baptized?”

All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.

Then Nathanael exclaimed,“ Rabbi, you are the Son of God— the King of Israel!”Jesus asked him,“ Do you believe this just because I told you I had seen you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than this.”

I saw this happen to Jesus, so I testify that he is the Chosen One of God.”

And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.”

We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God.”

Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close.

Then the disciples worshiped him.“ You really are the Son of God!” they exclaimed.

This is the Good News about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God. It began

The king proclaims the Lord’s decree:“ The Lord said to me,‘ You are my son. Today I have become your Father.

And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe.The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.This shows that the Son is far greater than the angels, just as the name God gave him is greater than their names.For God never said to any angel what he said to Jesus:“ You are my Son. Today I have become your Father.” God also said,“ I will be his Father, and he will be my Son.”And when he brought his supreme Son into the world, God said,“ Let all of God’s angels worship him.”Regarding the angels, he says,“ He sends his angels like the winds, his servants like flames of fire.”But to the Son he says,“ Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever. You rule with a scepter of justice.You love justice and hate evil. Therefore, O God, your God has anointed you, pouring out the oil of joy on you more than on anyone else.”

“ Yes, Lord,” she told him.“ I have always believed you are the Messiah, the Son of God, the one who has come into the world from God.”

“ My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed.

Simon Peter answered,“ You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life.“ For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.“ There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.

Submit to God’s royal son, or he will become angry, and you will be destroyed in the midst of all your activities— for his anger flares up in an instant. But what joy for all who take refuge in him!

No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

and he was shown to be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.

But afterward Jesus found him in the Temple and told him,“ Now you are well; so stop sinning, or something even worse may happen to you.”
