They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said,“ All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!”

So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them,“ He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”

Your speech must always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.

“ Do not judge, so that you will not be judged.For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?Or how can you say to your brother,‘ Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ and look, the log is in your own eye?You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye!

you, therefore, who teach someone else, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that one is not to steal, do you steal?You who say that one is not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who loathe idols, do you rob temples?You who boast in the Law, through your breaking the Law, do you dishonor God?For“ the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,” just as it is written.For indeed circumcision is of value if you practice the Law; but if you are a violator of the Law, your circumcision has turned into uncircumcision.

Therefore you have no excuse, you foolish person, everyone of you who passes judgment; for in that matter in which you judge someone else, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.And we know that the judgment of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things.But do you suppose this, you foolish person who passes judgment on those who practice such things, and yet does them as well, that you will escape the judgment of God?

On the testimony of two witnesses or three witnesses, the condemned shall be put to death; he shall not be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.The hands of the witnesses shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So you shall eliminate the evil from your midst.

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self indulgence.You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that the outside of it may also become clean.“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.So you too, outwardly appear righteous to people, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

Therefore repent; or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will wage war against them with the sword of My mouth.

For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him to whom we must answer.

But to the wicked God says,“ What right do you have to tell of My statutes And to take My covenant in your mouth?For you yourself hate discipline, And you throw My words behind you.When you see a thief, you become friends with him, And you associate with adulterers.You let your mouth loose in evil, And your tongue harnesses deceit.You sit and speak against your brother; You slander your own mother’s son.

Do not answer a fool according to his foolishness, Or you will also be like him.Answer a fool as his foolishness deserves, So that he will not be wise in his own eyes.

In His right hand He held seven stars, and out of His mouth came a sharp two edged sword; and His face was like the sun shining in its strength.

From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty.

The officers answered,“ Never has a man spoken in this way!”

“ Is My word not like fire?” declares the Lord,“ and like a hammer which shatters a rock?

There is one who speaks rashly like the thrusts of a sword, But the tongue of the wise brings healing.

But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an outsider enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all;the secrets of his heart are disclosed; and so he will fall on his face and worship God, declaring that God is certainly among you.
