乃窺伺之、遣偵者、佯為義人、欲執其言、付於方伯權下治之、遂問曰、夫子、我知爾所言所誨皆正、不以貌取人、誠以上帝之道誨人也、我儕納稅於該撒宜否、耶穌知其詐、曰、

我遣爾似羊入狼中、故當智如蛇、馴如鴿、

索取我命者設網罟、謀害我躬者出惡言、終日籌思詭計兮、我如聾者不聞聲、瘖者不啟口、其耳無聞、其口無辯兮、

有法利賽人就而問曰、人出妻可乎、蓋試之也、

法利賽人出而詰之、求自天之兆以試之、

中有為律師者、問而試之曰、

斯乃奸惡之時、達人緘默、

行路而預不干己之爭、如執犬耳、

斯民既於埃及暨曠野、見我榮光、及所行之異蹟、而猶試我、至於十次、不聽我言、

法利賽人及撒都該人、來試耶穌、請以自天之異兆示之、

耶穌不答、大祭司曰、我指維生上帝、令爾誓而告我、爾果上帝子基督否、

維時、有人手之指顯見、書文於王宮粉壁、燈臺相對之處、王見書文之手、

昧爽、返於殿、民咸就之、乃坐而訓焉、

我謂必謹我行、免舌干咎、惡人當前、必箝我口兮、

又有試之者、求自天之兆、
