“ I have much to say in judgment of you. But he who sent me is trustworthy, and what I have heard from him I tell the world.”

“ I have a lot to say that will judge you. But the one who sent me can be trusted. And I tell the world what I have heard from him.”

I have much to say about you and much to judge, but he who sent me is true, and I declare to the world what I have heard from him.”

我不再稱你們為奴僕，因為奴僕不知道主人的事。我稱你們為朋友，因為我把從父那裡聽見的一切都告訴了你們。

於是，耶穌在聖殿裡高聲教導人說：「你們知道我是誰，也知道我是從哪裡來的。其實我來不是出於自己的意思，差我來的那位是真實的，你們不認識祂。

我把從上帝那裡聽到的真理告訴你們，你們反要殺我，亞伯拉罕絕不做這樣的事。

我知道你們沒有愛上帝的心。我奉我父的名來，你們不接受我；若有人奉自己的名來，你們卻接受他。

要把所見所聞講給人聽，只是沒有人接受祂的見證。但已經接受祂見證的人證實了上帝是真實的。

「我還有許多事情要告訴你們，可是你們現在不能明白。

耶穌說：「我的教導不是出於我自己，而是出於差我來的那位。

因為我已經把你賜給我的道賜給他們，他們也接受了，並且確實知道我是從你那裡來的，也相信是你差遣了我。

關於這方面的事，我們還有很多話要說，但因為你們已經聽不進去，很難向你們解釋。按你們學習的時間來算，你們本該做別人的老師了，可惜你們還需要別人向你們傳授上帝話語的基本道理，成了不能吃乾糧、只能吃奶的人。

我在信實的上帝面前保證：我們對你們說的話絕不會忽是忽非！

耶穌說：「我為了審判來到這世界，使瞎眼的可以看見，使看得見的反成了瞎眼的。」有些跟祂在一起的法利賽人聽了這句話，就問：「難道我們也瞎了眼嗎？」耶穌說：「如果你們是瞎眼的，就沒有罪了。但現在你們自稱看得見，所以你們的罪還在。」

就算我判斷人，我的判斷也是正確的，因為我不是獨自一人，還有差我來的父與我同在。你們的律法不是說兩個人做見證就有效嗎？

聽了我的話卻不遵守的人，我不審判他，因為我來不是要審判世人，而是要拯救世人。棄絕我、不接受我話的人將受到審判，我講過的道在末日要審判他，因為我不是憑自己講的，我說什麼、講什麼都是差我來的父吩咐的。我知道祂的命令能帶來永生。所以祂怎麼告訴我，我就怎麼說。」
