“ Who are You?” they questioned.“ Precisely what I’ve been telling you from the very beginning,” Jesus told them.

他們問：「你到底是誰？」耶穌回答說：「我不是早就告訴你們了嗎？

他們就問：“你是誰？”耶穌說：“我不是從起初就告訴你們嗎？

於是他們問耶穌說：『你、是誰？』耶穌對他們說：『總而言之，就是我同你們所講論的。

他們問：「你到底是誰？」耶穌說：「我從一開始就告訴你們了。

眾曰、爾為誰、曰、即自始所言於爾者、

眾曰、爾為誰、耶穌曰、我昔言之矣、

眾曰、爾為誰、耶穌曰、即我自始所告爾者、

眾問曰：『爾果誰歟？』耶穌曰：『予乃無始之始、而今為爾說道者是！

“ Who are you?” they asked.“ Just what I have been telling you from the beginning,” Jesus replied.

“ Who are you?” they asked.“ Just what I have been telling you from the beginning,” Jesus replied.

So they said to him,“ Who are you?” Jesus said to them,“ Just what I have been telling you from the beginning.

“ Who are you?” they demanded. Jesus replied,“ The one I have always claimed to be.

“ Who are you?” they questioned.“ Exactly what I’ve been telling you from the very beginning,” Jesus told them.

Then they were saying to Him,“ Who are You?” Jesus said to them,“ What have I even been saying to you from the beginning?

Then they said to Him,“ Who are You?” And Jesus said to them,“ Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning.

They said therefore unto him, Who art thou? Jesus said unto them, Even that which I have also spoken unto you from the beginning.

Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even[ the same] that I said unto you from the beginning.

So they said to him,“ Who are you?” Jesus replied,“ What I have told you from the beginning.

They said therefore to him,“ Who are you?” Jesus said to them,“ Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning.

This is John’s testimony when the Jews from Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him,“ Who are you?”

“ Who are you, then?” they asked.“ We need to give an answer to those who sent us. What can you tell us about yourself?”

He went back into the headquarters and asked Jesus,“ Where are You from?” But Jesus did not give him an answer.

Then the Jews surrounded Him and asked,“ How long are You going to keep us in suspense? If You are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”

They said,“ If You are the Messiah, tell us.” But He said to them,“ If I do tell you, you will not believe.

Then Jesus spoke to them again:“ I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows Me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.”

But Jesus responded to them,“ My Father is still working, and I am working also.”This is why the Jews began trying all the more to kill Him: Not only was He breaking the Sabbath, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.Then Jesus replied,“ I assure you: The Son is not able to do anything on His own, but only what He sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does these things in the same way.For the Father loves the Son and shows Him everything He is doing, and He will show Him greater works than these so that you will be amazed.And just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so the Son also gives life to anyone He wants to.The Father, in fact, judges no one but has given all judgment to the Son,so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.“ I assure you: Anyone who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.“ I assure you: An hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For just as the Father has life in Himself, so also He has granted to the Son to have life in Himself.And He has granted Him the right to pass judgment, because He is the Son of Man.Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear His voiceand come out— those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of judgment.
