所以我說你們將死在自己的罪中，你們如果不相信我就是那一位，一定會死在自己的罪中。」

故曰、爾必死於爾罪、若不信我之為彼、則死於爾罪必矣、

我故云、爾必死於爾罪、蓋不信我之為我、爾死於罪必矣、

故我謂爾云、爾必死於爾罪中、爾若不信我之為我、或作爾若不信我為基督必死於爾罪中、

予故云：「爾將死於罪孽之中；」倘爾不信予之為予、則爾之死於罪中也必矣？』

信子的人有永生；不信子的人得不到永生，上帝的烈怒常在他身上。」

你們必須謹慎，切勿拒絕對你們說話的上帝。因為以色列人違背了在地上警戒他們的人，尚且逃脫不了懲罰，何況我們違背從天上警戒我們的上帝呢？

因為我們知道了真理以後，若仍然故意犯罪，就再沒有贖罪祭了，只有可怕的審判和燒滅敵對者的烈火等候我們。人違犯摩西的律法，經兩三個人指證後，尚且被毫不留情地處死，更何況人踐踏上帝的兒子，輕看那使人聖潔的立約之血，又藐視賜人恩典的聖靈？這等人該受多麼重的刑罰啊！

信祂的人不會被定罪，不信的人已經被定罪，因為他們不信上帝獨一的兒子。

相信並接受洗禮的人必定得救，不肯相信的人必被定罪。

耶穌說：「我這跟你說話的人就是祂。」

沒找到我就是害自己；憎恨我就是喜愛死亡。」

耶穌又對他們說：「我要走了，你們會尋找我，你們將死在自己的罪中。我去的地方，你們不能去。」

將有很多人冒我的名來，說，『我是基督』，欺騙許多人。

我們若忽略了這麼大的救恩，怎能逃避懲罰呢？這救恩首先由主親口宣講出來，後來由聽見的人向我們證實了。

我在事情還沒有發生之前，預先告訴你們，等事情發生以後，你們就會相信我是基督。

除祂以外，別無救主，因為普天之下沒有賜下別的名我們可以靠著得救！」

耶穌回答說：「你們要小心提防，不要被迷惑。因為將來會有許多人冒我的名來，說，『我就是基督』，或說，『時候到了』，你們切勿跟從他們。
