耶稣对他们说：“你们是从下头来的，我是从上头来的；你们是属这世界的，我不是属这世界的。

But he continued,“ You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

But Jesus said,“ You are from below. I am from heaven. You are from this world. I am not from this world.

He said to them,“ You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

Jesus continued,“ You are from below; I am from above. You belong to this world; I do not.

“ You are from below,” he told them,“ I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

And He was saying to them,“ You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world.

And He said to them,“ You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

“ You are from below,” He told them,“ I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

Jesus replied,“ You people are from below; I am from above. You people are from this world; I am not from this world.

He said to them,“ You are from beneath. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world.

自上來者在萬有上、自地者屬地、所言者亦屬地、自天來者在萬有上、

勿愛斯世與在世之物、人若愛世、則父之愛不在其衷、蓋凡在世者、如形軀之慾、眼目之慾、並此生之驕矜、皆非由父、乃由世也、

我以爾道授之、而世惡之、以其不屬世、如我不屬世然、

彼不屬世、如我不屬世然、

彼眾由乎世、故所言亦由世、而世聽之、我儕乃由上帝、識上帝者聽我、非由上帝者則否、真理之神、與謬妄之神、於此可識矣、○

夫道成人身、寓我儕中、充以恩寵真理、我儕見其榮、如天父獨生子之榮焉、

淫亂者乎、爾豈不知友於世、乃敵上帝乎、凡欲為世之友者、自為上帝敵也、

蓋形軀之志、敵乎上帝、以其不服上帝律、且不能服也、從形軀者、不能取悅乎上帝、

惟生於上帝者則自守、而惡者無從措手也、且知由於上帝、而舉世附於惡者、又知上帝子已至、賜我頴悟、使知真者、我儕在真者中、即其子耶穌基督中也、此乃真上帝、亦永生也、

此智非自上而來、乃屬地與慾與魔也、蓋媢嫉朋黨所在、必有紛亂與諸惡行、惟自上之智、則首貞潔、次和平、溫良、柔順、充以矜恤與善果、無貳無偽、

世若惡爾、爾知其先已惡我、爾若屬世、世必愛屬己者、爾非屬世、乃我選爾出乎世、故世惡爾焉、

彼以口腹為神、以辱為榮、以世情為念、終必淪亡、夫我籍在天、由此我亦俟乎救者、即主耶穌基督也、彼將依其能服萬有歸己之功用、化我儕卑賤之體、如其榮耀之體焉、

至於人事、我遵爾言、以自戒慎、不循強暴之軌兮、

從未有升天者、惟自天而降、即在天之人子耳、

先者本乎地而屬土、後者乃本乎天、屬土者如何、凡屬土者亦如何、屬天者如何、凡屬天者亦如何、
