Later Jesus said to them again,“ I am going away. You will search for me but will die in your sin. You cannot come where I am going.”

耶稣又对他们说：“我要去了，你们要找我，并且你们要死在罪中。我所去的地方，你们不能到。”

于是耶稣又对他们说：“我去了，你们会找我，而你们会死在自己的罪中；我所去的地方，你们不能去。”

耶稣又对他们说：“我要走了，你们会寻找我，你们将死在自己的罪中。我去的地方，你们不能去。”

耶稣又对他们说：“我要去了，你们要寻找我，并且要在自己的罪中死亡；我去的地方，你们不能到。”

后来，耶稣又对他们说：“我要去了，你们将要寻找我，并且将死在自己的罪中。我去的地方，你们不能去。”

耶穌又對他們說：「我要去了，你們要找我，並且你們要死在罪中。我所去的地方，你們不能到。」

於是耶穌又對他們說：「我去了，你們會找我，而你們會死在自己的罪中；我所去的地方，你們不能去。」

耶穌又曰、我往矣、爾將尋我、而必死於爾罪、我往之所、爾不能至、

耶穌又曰、我往、爾將求我、而必死於爾罪、我往之所、爾不得至、

耶穌復謂眾曰、我往、爾必尋我、爾必死於爾罪中、我往之所、爾不能至、

耶穌復告人曰：『予往矣！爾曹追尋於予、而將死於罪孽之中、予之所往、爾莫得而至焉。』

Once more Jesus said to them,“ I am going away, and you will look for me, and you will die in your sin. Where I go, you cannot come.”

Once more Jesus said to them,“ I am going away. You will look for me, and you will die in your sin. You can’t come where I am going.”

So he said to them again,“ I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.”

Then he said to them again,“ I’m going away; you will look for me, and you will die in your sin. Where I’m going, you cannot come.”

Then He said again to them,“ I am going away, and you will look for Me, and will die in your sin; where I am going, you cannot come.”

Then Jesus said to them again,“ I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you cannot come.”

He said therefore again unto them, I go away, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sin: whither I go, ye cannot come.

Then He said to them again,“ I’m going away; you will look for Me, and you will die in your sin. Where I’m going, you cannot come.”

Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.

Then Jesus said to them again,“ I am going away, and you will look for me but will die in your sin. Where I am going you cannot come.”

Jesus said therefore again to them,“ I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sins. Where I go, you can’t come.”

You will search for me but not find me. And you cannot go where I am going.”

That is why I said that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I Am who I claim to be, you will die in your sins.”

Dear children, I will be with you only a little longer. And as I told the Jewish leaders, you will search for me, but you can’t come where I am going.

When the wicked die, their hopes die with them, for they rely on their own feeble strength.

“ Then if anyone tells you,‘ Look, here is the Messiah,’ or‘ There he is,’ don’t believe it.For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones.

“ No longer will babies die when only a few days old. No longer will adults die before they have lived a full life. No longer will people be considered old at one hundred! Only the cursed will die that young!

For I tell you this, you will never see me again until you say,‘ Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord!’”

Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins.

Though they are young, their bones will lie in the dust.

“ Then the King will turn to those on the left and say,‘ Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons.

Truly, you put them on a slippery path and send them sliding over the cliff to destruction.In an instant they are destroyed, completely swept away by terrors.When you arise, O Lord, you will laugh at their silly ideas as a person laughs at dreams in the morning.

For I swear by the Lord your God that the king has searched every nation and kingdom on earth from end to end to find you. And each time he was told,‘ Elijah isn’t here,’ King Ahab forced the king of that nation to swear to the truth of his claim.

“ Finally, the poor man died and was carried by the angels to sit beside Abraham at the heavenly banquet. The rich man also died and was buried,and he went to the place of the dead. There, in torment, he saw Abraham in the far distance with Lazarus at his side.“ The rich man shouted,‘ Father Abraham, have some pity! Send Lazarus over here to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue. I am in anguish in these flames.’“ But Abraham said to him,‘ Son, remember that during your lifetime you had everything you wanted, and Lazarus had nothing. So now he is here being comforted, and you are in anguish.And besides, there is a great chasm separating us. No one can cross over to you from here, and no one can cross over to us from there.’

If I warn the wicked, saying,‘ You are under the penalty of death,’ but you fail to deliver the warning, they will die in their sins. And I will hold you responsible for their deaths.If you warn them and they refuse to repent and keep on sinning, they will die in their sins. But you will have saved yourself because you obeyed me.

The wicked are crushed by disaster, but the godly have a refuge when they die.

Jesus replied,“ My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going.

He said this to indicate how he was going to die.

“ And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.”

And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins.In that case, all who have died believing in Christ are lost!

“ Sir,” they said,“ just say the word and fifty of our strongest men will search the wilderness for your master. Perhaps the Spirit of the Lord has left him on some mountain or in some valley.”“ No,” Elisha said,“ don’t send them.”But they kept urging him until they shamed him into agreeing, and he finally said,“ All right, send them.” So fifty men searched for three days but did not find Elijah.
