I am one who testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father, who sent me.”

At the same time, God also testified by signs and wonders, various miracles, and distributions of gifts from the Holy Spirit according to His will.

“ I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

I assure you: If anyone keeps My word, he will never see death— ever!”

“ I am the good shepherd. I know My own sheep, and they know Me,

Jesus told him,“ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

I speak what I have seen in the presence of the Father; therefore, you do what you have heard from your father.”

I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture.

Jesus said to them,“ I assure you: Before Abraham was, I am.”

Then Jesus spoke to them again:“ I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows Me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.”

When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. He laid His right hand on me and said,“ Don’t be afraid! I am the First and the Last,and the Living One. I was dead, but look— I am alive forever and ever, and I hold the keys of death and Hades.

“ Who are You?” they questioned.“ Precisely what I’ve been telling you from the very beginning,” Jesus told them.

The Father and I are one.”

“ If I testify about Myself, My testimony is not valid.There is Another who testifies about Me, and I know that the testimony He gives about Me is valid.You have sent messengers to John, and he has testified to the truth.I don’t receive man’s testimony, but I say these things so that you may be saved.John was a burning and shining lamp, and for a time you were willing to enjoy his light.“ But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given Me to accomplish. These very works I am doing testify about Me that the Father has sent Me.The Father who sent Me has Himself testified about Me. You have not heard His voice at any time, and you haven’t seen His form.You don’t have His word living in you, because you don’t believe the One He sent.You pore over the Scriptures because you think you have eternal life in them, yet they testify about Me.And you are not willing to come to Me so that you may have life.

Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me, even if he dies, will live.
