but you don’t even know him. I know him. If I said otherwise, I would be as great a liar as you! But I do know him and obey him.

“ My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”

for the Father himself loves you dearly because you love me and believe that I came from God.Yes, I came from the Father into the world, and now I will leave the world and return to the Father.”

( Not that anyone has ever seen the Father; only I, who was sent from God, have seen him.)

No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

“ For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.

“ O righteous Father, the world doesn’t know you, but I do; and these disciples know you sent me.I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them.”

Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world.

Jesus knew that the Father had given him authority over everything and that he had come from God and would return to God.

just as my Father knows me and I know the Father. So I sacrifice my life for the sheep.

God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.

Furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now testify that the Father sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
